I have to add one quart of oil every 1200 miles. dealer states this is normal

This car has 166000 miles on it and always had a dealer oil changes. it now is using a quart off oil every 1000 miles or less. there are no oil leaks to be found and the dealer admits that that is to much oil consumption but cannot help me with any kind of factory repairs. for a modern engine this is way to much oil use. i have a 1990 toyota camry with 522000 miles and uses less than 1/2 a quart between oil changes. toyota has really gone down hill on this engine design.

I currently drive a 2013 venza, upon acceleration the transmission stutters. there is a recall for the toyota camry with the same exact engine, but not on the venza. i am also writing toyota about this issue. it is just getting worse.

Vehicle excel by it self, sometime the car would t speed up on its own, standing and driving

The first year of owning i noticed a mildew type odor coming through the vent system when i cut on the heat. i reported during service and was told the filter would be changed and some type of odor reducer placed in the ventilation system. it's winter again and the odor is so bad that i am getting car sick whenever the heat is on, whether driving or stationary. i searched the web and there are many instances of this issue with toyota vehicles. is there any recalls in place for this, i will be going to the dealer again and will follow up with this complaint. based on other internet complaints, this may be mold build up.

The below issue was first reported to the appropriate toyota representatives and to nhtsa in 9-2013. it has occurred 36 times since the car was purchased new in may 2013. at this writing the car has less than 6000 miles on the odometer. intermittently and without warning the electronic link between the gas pedal and the engine is inoperative for 3-5 seconds. during this period the car is not under power it is coasting and depressing the gas pedal has no effect on engine speed. after this period the electronic link is automatically restored and the engine is again responsive to pressure on the gas pedal. *tr
