Rear suspension arm (tie rods) fixed under recall campaign 13v 383000 have become loose. after several calls to the manufacturer and to two different dealers, toyota has denied to help with the cost of repairs. obviously their recall "fix" has not worked and i think they should be held responsible for the repairs due to this fact.

While making a right turn i heard a loud pop then a thump like something falling on the back floor and hitting the side of the car. thought, at first it was the items in my back cargo space rising up and falling as if i hit a speed bump too fast. i was only turning onto another road when i heard the loud noise. i took the car to a place that gave free estimates and they discovered the drivers side sway bar bolt had broke off. they said it was from rusting and it finally gave. was recommended to replace both sides. not happy as i already put much money into this car after i bought it 3 years ago.
Recall dated aug.10, 2016. unable to find any toyota dealer in atlanta area with the part to fix the problem. been actively engaged with dealers for a year to get resolution, but to no avail. want to sell the car but can't as long as recall is outstanding.

After second recall on rear suspension that occurred in november 2016, i had to replace my tires about 20k miles prematurely because of excessive wear on inside rim. when i went to have it aligned, i was told that the parts that would have been adjusted to align them had stickers on them identifying them as having been part of the recall and saying that they are now non adjustable. when i called toyota, i was told that it was not their problem because i must have driven over a curb or a pothole before the epoxy had set in order for the car to come out of alignment. so apparently now if i drive over a pothole, instead of a >$100 alignment bill, i will have a $1000 bill to replace the rear suspension. unacceptable.

Rear lower suspension arm assemblies in fall 2016 i received a safety recall notice from toyota regarding the rear lower suspension arm. three times in the last six months i have contacted the local toyota dealer to schedule a service appointment to make the necessary repair. each time i was told that i would be contacted once the replacement parts are available. if this is truly a safety issue why the delay in obtaining the necessary parts? toyota should be required to expedite the remediation of this safety recall. thank you,

Have called a few toyota dealers in the area to get this urgent recall taken care of. nobody has the parts. why is toyota saying this is an "urgent safety recall" - quote from front of notice - yet not providing the parts to the dealers? one dealer said no bolts. another dealer said no suspension arms. i am currently #139 on their list, once the parts come in. can you really issue an urge nt safety recall, yet not provide the parts for repair????
Toyota wants to replace my rear suspension arms, align my wheels and the encase arms in epoxy. this will prevent any future alignments to my car without having to replace the suspension system. something that was done on the last recall of the front end. however this time they are refusing to do the same thing. this is not returning the condition of my car to the condition it was in when i bought the car. and it is not acceptable to me.
1st issue was repeated recall over lower arm suspension bar that was permanently glued, to remedy safety concern. now intermediate steering arm is bad, and problems w car swaying, and tires feeling wobbly. being told toyota will not cover expenses to repair related suspension issue. $750.00 car has only 53,000 miles... many other rav4 owners w same problem. afraid to drive.
