Tl* the contact owns a 2001 toyota echo. while driving various speeds, the air bag and check engine indicators illuminated. the contact also stated that the gear shift indicator did not illuminate when changing gears. the vehicle was taken to a repair shop where the computer was reset, but the failure recurred. the vehicle was not repaired. the dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 155,000.

While driving at any speed transmission lost power temporarily. dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. *ak

Vehicle makes a hydraulic drill sound when engine got hotter, it wasn't only on open road when given gas. dealer replaced transmission, and it was no better. performance was better, but it didn't rectify problem. manufacturer and dealer weren't responding to consumer's need of vehicle.*ak
