Problems with 2008 Toyota Camry EQUIPMENT

My sun visors on both sides have messed up and now have both been replaced. my cd player also started messing up earlier this year. it says there's a cd in, but there's not. you can't load a cd or eject it. the service center at the toyota dealership told me they don't see anything jammed in there and that i would be better off replacing it with an aftermarket stereo system b/c it would be cheaper and they would have to send my car off to have it fixed. hopefully, i'm not the only one experiencing this problem and a recall will be issued! *tr

The visor on my 2008 toyota camry broke. up until now i had no issues with the car except that the cd player only works intermittently. ended up having to take visor off; could not drive with it like that. *tt

The cd player has problems loading the cd. even though there is no cd in the drive - it keeps saying reading cd, not allowing the cd in. we had this problem only about 2years after purchasing the vehicle new. *tr

I have a 2008 toyota camry, when starting my auto, the engine races for appx. 30 seconds, then goes down. also in the last 5 weeks i have notice that the car lurches forward then goes back to the spend i have it on. i am very nervous driving this car, this problem just started happening about 5 or 6 weeks ago, at first i thought i was just thinking it was happening, but it seems to be getting more frequent. i have to drive it, it is the only car i have, so doctors appointments have to be keep, fear or not, i hope it does not go speeding an not stop, my mother is 82 a very afraid to get into the car, but we have to go places. we live on roads with inclines. very steep hills, one has a stop sign at the foot of it, but so far it does stop. it makes a loud engine noise. like a grinding of the engine, at first the brakes hesitate stopping but i push really hard on them and they stop it. i took it in for an inspection sticker an they said it passed. i told them about the problem. they said they did not know what to do about it at this time. *tr

I was driving along a rural road and my engine seized up and the car died. it turns out that the oil filter fell off at some point- 2 months after an oil change. the oil light did not come on until approximately 30 seconds before the car died. when the mechanic spoke with toyota, he asked if this had occurred other times and was told they had heard of it happening once or twice. since the engine had to be rebuilt, this is a rather costly problem to have occur. fortunately i was in a relatively safe place to pull over and call for a tow truck. *tr

In approx apr 2009 i experience accelerate pedal , i went to slow the car down easing on brake because i was coming to a intersection and could not stop and tried to push on brake that did not work had to switch to neutral because brake was not working i was on dry land and it was like i had no control of the car, when i took it to have oil changed no one said anything and it was like oh well. *tr

My 2008 toyota camry had problems from the day that i purchased it. i took it back to the dealer and also contacted toyota motor sales u.s.a. i have taken the car back to the dealer several times for the same problem. the national center for dispute settlement was called by the toyota motor sales u.s.a. and they also did not resolve the problem. i feel unsafe driving the car. the car races unexpectedly and lurches forward in stop and go traffic. i am afraid that the car is going to crash into something or someone. i have been complaining about this to the above since i purchased the car. the dealer kept my car for 8 days on one of my visits to their repair shop and told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. now that the toyota problem has been made public, i hope that my complaint will not be dismissed as before. i tried to ask toyota to buy back my car, i noticed the problem when the car only had 16 miles on it. can you please help? i kept all of the communications between the toyota and the ncds since the time i first filed my complaints with this problem. *tr
