I purchased a 2001 camry le (new) and the dome light does not work the way the manual says it should. i have power door locks and keyless entry- when i use my keyless entry my dome light does not come on the way my manual states it should. and when i first close my door the dome light does not stay on for the 15 seconds like the manual says it should. this is very very unsafe for a person to get into this car after dark!!!! if someone was hiding in the car they would have all the advantages - if i use my keyless entry from 10 feet away and my light doesn't come i can't tell someone would be in the car but, in reality i have just signaled to that person that i'm on my way to the car, so get ready to jump out at me. they're ready and i wouldn't be!!!!!!!! sounds extremely unsafe to me. how does toyota justify taking "away" safety features. is that what happenes when we give them a chance to do business in america?*ak
