My airbag lights turned on for my driver's airbag and the passenger airbag. we we had the car serviced, the sensors under the seats were disengaged. no recall. a few months later the lights came on again for both seats. we were in an accident that month and the airbags did not deploy.
Air bag light is on air bag is on will not reset talk to dealership said it would cost 700.00 to fix . i think it should be fix on recall. unsafe condition indicates unsafe airbag would not deploy. *tr

Air bag light has been on almost continuously since october 2007 (vehicle purchased new in june 2006). dealer in nevada checked vehicle october 2007 (mileage 20,788), found codes b1102 low battery voltage and b1378 drivers side resistance too high. cleared codes, tightened connector under passenger seat (no cost); light was off for about a week then back on. dealer advised i should just snug up the connector under passenger seat to resolve indicator light and i did this regularly for several years until light wouldn't go out anymore. march 2011 (mileage 62,751) dealer in washington checked car, found codes b1382 right side resistance and b1378 left front side resistance. cleared codes, cleaned, tightened, and added stabilizer to connectors (charged $105); light was off about 2 days then back on. air bag light has been on ever since (currently 94,950 miles as of november 18, 2014). *tr
I own a 2006 suzuki reno. bought it from huston motors lake wales. the passenger's air bag light would not go off when the passenger seats was occupied. took the vehicle to huston , and they changed the sensor under the seat to try and correct the problem. they explained to me that the vehicle had to be on when the person got into the passenger seat, but the airbag light still did not go off. meaning that the passenger's airbag will not activate in case of an accident. please advise what should i do? *ak
