Tl* the contact owns a 2017 subaru wrx. while driving at an unknown speed, an unusual noise was heard coming from the wheels without warning. the vehicle was taken to reeves subaru tampa (813-375-3660, located at 1111 n florida ave, tampa, fl 33612) where it was diagnosed that the bearings failed and needed to be replaced. the bearings were replaced, but the failure recurred. the same dealer replaced the bearings again, but the failure recurred. the dealer diagnosed that the failure was due to driver error and required the contact to be responsible for the repair cost. the manufacturer was made aware of the failures and sided with the dealer. the vehicle was repaired at the owner's expense. the failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
