On 2/11/20 around 12:30pm et, i was approaching the highway via an onramp, and my speed was barely 25 mph. suddenly, as i was on the approach-road, i suddenly felt that the steering was locked and turning on the right side only (either steering or anti-lock malfunction). it hit the fence and then turned (flipped) on its driver side as can be seen in the picture. i believe this is a safety issue, so please make a proper investigation. my car was totaled. my damaged car is in 'county towing' in 49 fullerton ave, yonkers, ny 10704, phone: (914) 423-1101
I was waiting on my wife at the grocery store and the windshield started to crack a little at a time. first it was about 1/2 crack and not its about 10-11" crack right in front of the drivers seat
Unable to get key out of ignition when vehicle is in park (in garage or anywhere else). found issue on forums many times. seems to be related to gear assembly. messing with shifting, back into park, wiggling key eventually get it out. sometimes it takes 5 minutes. happens at least 40% of time.
Automatic breaking activated for no reason but only for a very short time but very hard. then released. there was a flash of something on the dash i think a breaking warning and beeping sound. moving approx 35mph, not breaking, on 2 lane road ( east pea ridge rd. huntington wv). nothing in front of me for quite a distance. no one coming toward me either. road conditions were good. straight road. The key got stuck in the ignition, and the visor on passenger does not swing correctly, the radio turns on when i start the car even after the radio was turned off
When going to park, i shift the car into park and turn off the engine but the key is stuck in the ignition. this has happened every time i've driven for the last three days. the only way to get it to come out is to turn it back on and trying shifting into park again, occasionally several times before it recognizes that it's in park and will release the key.
About 4 weeks ago, on late saturday morning, driving down the interstate, from richmond, va my car caught on fire in hampton. the car jolted a little and would not accelerate. pulled to the side of the road, smoke became visible, but the temperature gauge was not running high. a witness ran toward the car yelling to get out of the car because it was on fire. even though 2 fire trucks were on the scene, it took a little while to extinguish the fire and everything under the hood was burnt to a crisp. unfortunately, it was not recoverable. are you aware of what may have possibly caused this to happen?
During the fall of 2019, i noticed an exhaust smell when starting my 2015 subaru outback in my garage. this smell coincided with the car running rough when starting and the exhaust smell entering the cabin when the heater was turned on. i did not notice this cabin exhaust smell in the summer due to using the ac on recirculate. the exhaust smell was especially noticeable when i was idling waiting to pick up my kids and sitting at traffic stops. i brought my vehicle in to a subaru dealer and they stated that my catalytic converter was cracked and should be replaced. this was when my car was at 80,829 miles and they actually had the part on hand. i am assuming that this happens to them quite frequently since stocking a $1500 on hand would not be the best use of inventory. the repair cost $1940 since my emission warranty was barely out due to the 829 miles. i explained to them that this was happening way before the 80,000 miles, but they refused to cover it under warranty. i feel that having exhaust ...
The front windshield of the car cracked while the car was parked in a parking lot that had no trees or objects that could have hit in the location it cracked.
