Tl* the contact owned a 2009 scion xb. while at a stop light and releasing the brake pedal, the contact's vehicle accelerated without warning. as a result, the contact crashed into a vehicle that was also at a stop light. there were no injuries. a police report was filed. the contact was able to drive the vehicle. the contact called victorville motors at (760) 733-8484 (located at 14617 civic dr, victorville, ca 92394), but did not recall what was discussed. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the contact stated that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign number: 18e091000 (service brakes, hydraulic). the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. in addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a side collision while driving 75 mph. the air bag failed to deploy. the driver sustained minor injuries to the arm and left shoulder. the front passenger also sustained minor injuries to the head and a whiplash. medical attention was not required. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to a tow lot. the contact called victorville motors again, but they did not assist. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic ...
Keep getting recals in the mail my cars hoold latch wont stay so i risk daily the potential to have it fly up and smash my windshield, also burns threw too oil, interior lights dont work for the heating ac area umm if u close the gas cap cover completly as required it fuems up the inside the car makes u sick feelng my airbags are alarming at random times when u wouldmt expect it to or never stop even when u click in seat belt and the o2 sensor is a consistamt replacement thats gettimg annoying to fix or replace
Takata recall -my daughter hit a parked car and over corrected making the vehicle flip. no airbags deployed. my daughter had a cut on her head, huge bump on forehead, black eye, huge bump on top of her head. her passanger fractured three finger and had her nails ripped off. she will be having surgery. we had the passenger air bag replaced due to the takata recall in november.
Takatarecall: some months ago i made an appointment for the dealer to fix the car reference the recall. at the time i made sure they knew i was a senior citizen and need a loaner car... it was agreed they would call prior to my appointment time to assure me a loaner car would be available...no call.... when i called them again they said the would call... well, as of 5/29..still no call

Takata airbags. i've called for the recall and they told me i have to wait. so if i crash with my children and airbags deploy it won't matter because they aren't ready. i live in arizona where it's hot and humid both conditions they said would make the airbag worse.
Takata recall- the mfr has failed to take care of this in a timely manner- received notice of recall almost 6 months ago and still have not found a solution- i am driving an unsafe vehicle and they need to fix it.

Takata recall. i received a notice to not use the front passenger seat until a remedy becomes available. a toyota customer service rep informed me that the company had no idea when a remedy might be available. i is unacceptable that i can't use the front passenger seat of my vehicle indefinitely. this is the primary transport for me and my family.

Takata recall - i went to trade in my scion xb and was notified that there was a recall on the airbag and no remedy is available. since the recall is from may 2016 i have concerns about when this will be remedied. i am "stuck" with the scion and cannot sell until this is resolved. is there a time frame for the resolution? is there any recourse for toyota as this is now causing a financial strain in purchasing a new vehicle, not having this the ability to trade in this vehicle for the purchase of a new vehicle? any information is greatly appreciated.
Takata recall - this recall for the passenger side airbag was issued in january 2017. i have been calling to find out when we can get the vehicle repaired. it is now may, and there is still not a remedy available. we need to have a passenger in that seat because we use this vehicle for work purposes.
