Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ram 1500. the contact took the vehicle to crown dodge chrysler jeep ram (located at 6300 king dr, ventura, ca 93003) to be repaired per an unknown recall regarding the tailgate, info timing system, gps, fuel tank, and the sending unit. after leaving the dealer and driving 65 mph, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the rear end. the contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and noticed that the air rod suspension did not have air. the vehicle was driven to the contact's residence. the contact stated that the vehicle bounced due to lack of air in the suspension. the vehicle was later taken to shaver chrysler dodge jeep ram & fiat (3888 thousand oaks blvd, thousand oaks, ca 91362, (805) 496-7103), but was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 57840183. the approximate failure mileage was 500.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ram 1500. the contact stated while driving at various speeds in colder temperatures the air ride suspension failed to operate as intended. the contact stated that the failure was more prevalent with temperature at 10 degrees and below. the vehicle was taken to (lockwood motors located at 1310 e college dr, marshall, mn 56258) to be diagnosed. the contact was informed that the air suspension pump needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. the approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
Air suspension failure. when the temperature is below zero degrees fahrenheit , the air suspension fails and sits all the way down on the bump stops, or leans to the left dramatically. it stays that way until the dealership can take it in, which can be weeks.
Takata recall. in the winter months there are a host of electrical problems. at times, the radio will not tutn off after i shut off the vehicle. the only fix was yo disconnect the battery. the backup camera goes completely green also. the air suspension fails several times per week during the winter months as well. i have it parked outside all the time.
In temps below zero air suspension fails
Air suspension will stop working causing the truck to ride directly on the frame. also, the front will deflate while the back is still inflated. any time this happens the fuse for the air suspension is blown. has happened on numerous occasions since purchasing the truck. occurs while vehicle is parked and not in operation.
Tl* the contact owns a 2017 ram 1500. while driving 65 mph, the vehicle veered to the right without warning. as a result, the contact lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail. the contact stated that the front passenger side tire detached completely and the air bags failed to deploy. the driver sustained minor injuries and bruising. the front and rear passengers sustained minor bruising that required medical attention. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed. the dealer was not contacted for diagnostic testing or repairs. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 70,000.
Vehicle has had 4 complete set of tires, plus 2.... vehicle starts shaking and wobble while driving at 68-72mph. ram refuses to look into this. something i think in drive line or rear causing all these problem. something is causing tire damage..out of round and radial run out. shaking and wobble have never stop with all these tires and balances. i have all ro's if wanted
