The compressor that operates the air suspension is bad. upon a little research this seems to be problem with a lot of ram trucks. especially in cold weather climates. this happened while i wasn't driving it.

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 ram 1500. while driving various speeds, the brake pedal became difficult to depress when attempting to stop the vehicle. the contact had to apply excessive force to the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a complete stop. the electronic stability control warning indicator and the brake light remained illuminated. when the contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road, powered off the engine, and restarted the vehicle, he was able to drive; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate. the vehicle was taken to mcpeek's chrysler dodge jeep ram of anaheim (1221 s auto center dr., anaheim, ca 92806, (714) 635-2340), but no failures were found. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
