Hood latch failed, hood popped open while driving on a highway about 45-50 mph, causing damage to both front fenders & hood brackets
They window shades in the front are tiny. they do not keep out the sun. they let all the sun enter the car so that you cannot see when driving. they went cheap on the window shades in the front. they don't protect the driver. they are tiny tiny tiny and i guess cost 25 cents to make. this is a cheap car, but safety things must be fair for the drivers protection. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 nissan versa. the contact stated that there was a crack stretching from the driver to the passenger's side of the windshield. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis where it was stated that the windshield was under too much stress. the vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. the approximate failure mileage was 32,000.
