Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan versa. while driving at 50 mph, the vehicle lost power. in addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to accelerate. the failure recurred on numerous occasions. the vehicle was taken to a dealer who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 30,000. updated 7/8/15*cn the consumer stated the transmission goes into fail safe mode. the engine would idle, but there would no power. updated 08/11/15*jb

Nissan versa 1.6 base sedan, speedometer problem. showing a speed higher then the actual so i am getting more miles then actual and might result in the earlier expiration of warranty. *kb
