All 4 brake pads and rotors required changing on a 2008 nissan titan at 14,315 mi. this was determined by two qualified mechanics. quote from the nissan dealership, "all brake rotors are severely pitted..." there was no warning and this is unexpected at such low mileage. it was detected when tires were being rotated. nissan claimed that this may be normal wear and would not help with financial compensation. rotors are available for viewing (for investigation purposes) for a period of time. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 nissan titan. the contact stated that when applying the brakes, the brake pedal would intermittently fall much farther into the floorboard than usual followed by an abnormal pop sound. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnosis or repairs. most recently, the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign id number: 10e019000 (suspension lower control arm) and the contact stated that she no longer felt safe driving the vehicle. this was the third recall notice she received for the vehicle. the current and failure mileage was 22,464.
