2004 nissan titan - brake locks up with a grinding noise for no apparent reason occurs so far at only low speeds. has re-occured not less than 5 times in two years. re-prorgamming breaks by nissan did not fix the problem

I have taken my truck in twice now for the brakes and the carpet being soaking wet from the truck leaking somewhereand the passenger airbag light not turning off. they resurfaced my brakes and said the leak was from the a/c. they also told us about the brake problem with the 2004 titans and that they would put us on a waiting list for the replacement parts. we are now taking it in again for the same problems. the floor is soaking wet and we have not ran the a/c. the brakes are shaking violently again, and not to mention the new problem of the cargo light turning on by itself when it is parked. i only have about 8300 miles on my truck and i only drive 5 miles one way to work. these are major problems that are occuring in such short time of having the truck.

When brakes are applied the steering wheel shakes, and the brake pulse. the problem first occured three months ago at 7000 miles. then again at 10000mile. both times the nissan dealer turned the rotors. may 27, 2005. nissan titan 2004 se crew cab

Brakes on my 004 nissan titan started failing a few months after i bought it took it to the dealer and got it repaired and a few months after it started to have exactly the same problem, shaking badly when you try to stop. took it back to the dealer got it fix and it starting to show the same problem again only a few weeks after i took it back the 2nd time.the thing that doesn't seem to be right to me is that at their garage repair scheduling is all about brakes . i would like to know if there's a problem with this kind of vehicle. thanks for your time

The front brakes on my 2004 nissan titan began shaking violently at 8100 miles in jan '05. i took it to the dealer where they only resurfaced the rotors and put on new pads. again in apr '05 it started shaking causing me to almost lose control of the vehicle. i took it to the dealer and they informed me that they were aware of the problem, but they would have to order the new brakes from nissan since the manufacturer was not allowing dealers to stock the parts. they had to order them by vin. nearly two weeks later my parts are not in and i am forced to put this unsafe vehicle on the road every day caryying my 22 month old twins. the dealer and nissan don't seem to be concerned like it's no big deal. does someone have to die before anything gets done with this?

Front brake pads, and rotors, are being redone again, at 11700 miles. this was done before at around 7000-800 miles. i am worried, that they will go out again, and that i will have to replace them again in another 10000 miles, and i will then have to pay for them, especially if this is a known problem. refered to this by chip chidester (sci).*ak
