Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan sentra. the contact stated that in order to use the sun visor, she would have to readjust the rear view mirror. by readjusting the rear view mirror she could no longer see out of it properly. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 2,656.
The sun visor on the nissan sentra when flipped down causes loss of visibility which can makes it very difficult to see cars ahead and requires adjustments which can make it very annoying to use and lead to loss of concentration required when driving. it is a bad design and can cause accidents as it did in my case and should be fixed! *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan sentra sr. the contact stated that the drivers side sun visor would come into contact with the rear view mirror and obstruct the drivers field of vision. the contact also stated that the mirror had to be repositioned whenever the visor was placed in the downward position. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, where the contact was informed that there was nothing they could do to correct the failure on the sr trim of this model year, even though the other trims did not experience the same failure. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 4,000. updated 9/19/11 *cn updated 2/22/12 *cn
