Emergency brakes lock up driving 55 miles per hour in the expressway, raining conditions almost can't write the history

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving 30 mph, the vehicle braked automatically without the brake pedal being depressed. the contact also stated that the vehicle stalled twice without warning. the driver restarted the vehicle and was able to drive. the vehicle was taken to pohanka nissan of fredericksburg (5200 jefferson davis hwy, fredericksburg, va 22408, (540) 898-5200) where the vehicle was driven a hundred miles; however, the technician could not replicate the failures. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. the failure mileage was approximately 28,000. the vin was not available.

Driving approximately 35mph and the cars automatic emergency brake system triggered, car came to a complete stop. thankfully there were no other cars in front or behind me at the time. this was on a local residential road.

The automatic emergency braking system on my 2017 rogue engaged yesterday during highway driving at roughly 60 mph. what a horrifically terrifying event. i was traveling within a single lane on a 3 lane highway when out of the blue the brakes locked up. the vehicle shuddered and the car went from 60 mph to about 15-20 mph in a matter of a couple hundred feet. it felt as though several tires had blown out at once or the automatic transmission had completely locked up. i remember hearing an audible chime and seeing something on the console panel flashing what i believe to be red warning light while i was fighting to retain control of the vehicle. within a period of about 3-5 seconds the whole event was over and the vehicle had abruptly slowed itself to the aforementioned speed. fortunately at the time the traffic was light and there was not another vehicle directly behind me or the consequences of this event would have ended tragically. the important thing to note is that this was relatively open road at the time and there were no other vehicles or obstructions in front or to the sides of the vehicle when this occurred. the vehicle has been promptly turned over to nissan for a full review and repair of the forward emergency braking system.

When driving the car in areas with uneven streets or street repairs plancks on ground either autimatic breaks would activate or car wouldn't slow down when breaks were hit. while driving on an unevenly paved road at about 30m/p/h the breaks were pressed & car did not slow down until it collided with another vehicle.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while traveling approximately 35 mph, the vehicle started to decelerate, the brakes seized, and the anti-lock brake system warning indicator illuminated. the front wheels wanted to spin, but they were locked. the vehicle was scheduled to be diagnosed by family nissan of laredo (3701 e saunders st, laredo, tx 78041) on december 2, 2019. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 17,776.

While driving my 2017 nissan rogue this week, for no apparent reason, the brake assist feature engaged. i was driving between 30-40 mph, nothing in my path, when suddenly the brakes engaged, causing what sounded like a grinding sound and my vehicle nearly coming to a stop with rush hour traffic behind me. this has happened twice since i've owned the car, with the previous time being approximately a month or two ago. i will be taking my vehicle in to my local nissan dealership to inspect, and hopefully this is taken seriously, and promptly corrected, as this could potentially cause a serious accident.

As i was driving my car at 20-25mph, my car suddenly beeped and slammed on the emergency break out of no where. at first i thought it was my tires. i got all 4 tires fixed but that didn't resolve the issue. i am afraid this can happen on the freeway with my children. my nissan 2018 rouge has a sensor problem.

Emergency brake engaged suddenl, it has happened there different times while in motion. twice while driving on the street and the last time pulling into my garage.

Brakes suddenly turned on for no reason. screen behind steering wheel indicated something about the front brake radar being activated. i was driving at 45 on a 45 mph road when it went off. steering wheel shook. an unexpected event like this could of created an accident with the on coming traffic. called dealer to figure out how to cut the wires on this defective product. just got something in mail about a recall yesterday, a little too late!

Emergency braking system activated on the freeway at 40 mph with no obstacle to trigger it. vehicle ahead of me was at least 4 car lengths ahead. i brought it to the dealer who said it was a known calibration issue and repaired free of charge.

I was driving though an intersection with no obstructions in front of me & my automatic emergency braking engaged for no reason. the chime sounded, the car stopped instantaneously & a malfunction screen came up on my dashboard. i was lucky there wasn't anyone behind me or i would have gotten rear ended. i have spoken to the dealership & have made an appointment, but i am told that there is no recall regarding this issue & i will have to pay to have it diagnosed & fixed. i am baffled that something that could cause serious harm to drivers hasn't been recalled or addressed. i drive the pennsylvania turnpike everyday to work which has a 70 mph speed limit & i can tell you, i do not feel safe knowing that this could happen at that speed with many cars around me. i really hope to see this issue be listed as a recall in the very near future!

Driving on interstate about 10 mph. car suddenly makes this loud noise and shuts off. it did restart and i didn't lose electrical as i was on blue tooth call but if happened when i was going faster this would have been a catastrophe! . this is the second time though. the first time i was in parking lot and i thought i did something as it was a new car. i was not touching anything but steering wheel and lightly touching brake as i was in traffic but there was quite some room between me and the car ahead.

On tuesday, aug. 27, i drove my rogue from my job at the times-tribune newspaper in scranton, pa on interstate 84 east to visit my brother in brewster n.y. after i exited the interstate and headed toward my brother's house, my rogue just stopped while i was driving. the stop was short, and luckily the car behind me was not that close. my rogue then continued to drive. there was nothing in front of me or on the sides to cause the automatic emergency braking to activate like this. i was driving straight on a city road. i did cross railroad tracks and it happened right after that.. at the time, i didn't know what to think. i thought maybe there was some kind of electrical issue. i didn't bring it in because it drove fine after that and didn't recur. since then, my rogue has driven normally. it wasn't until yesterday when i saw all the articles about other people complaining about their rogue's automatic emergency braking stopping - just like mine did - that i realized this is what happened to me in my rogue. i am scared that this is going to happen again while i'm driving my car and cause me to get in an accident. i have no other mode of transportation and must get to work. my daily commute is 45 minutes to an hour each way. i do not know what to do about this issue. i cannot find any information about how to get this fixed, and frankly, i cannot afford an expensive repair on something that should not be happening. i also cannot afford to get a rental car while my rogue gets fixed.

On 4 different occasions within less than 60 days, my 2017 nissan rogue has tried to "stop" on its own while i have been driving for no reason. there is nothing in front of me on the sides of me or close behind me when it occurs. it has varied in the speeds i have been driving, it hasn't happened during one specific speed. when it occurs, it beeps multiple times and i can hear my brakes locking up for a split second and then it stops. the first time it happened, i was going around 30 mph in town (thankfully i wasn't on the interstate) and i truly thought my car had come to a complete stop or died right there in the road. each time my car messes up, it always makes the same noise, makes the same 3-4 beeps and then tries to lock up. i took it to my local nissan store in jackson, ms and they informed me that nothing was wrong with my car- but my gut just says other wise. it scares me to think that this might happen on the interstate, at a much higher speed, with my family in the car with me. please help!

I was driving and the car made a loud beeping noise and stopped on it's own. it breaked and i had no control over the breaks or acceleration. the emergency break system went off. a light came on on the dashboard that said 'malfunction! check owner's manual.' (see pic). it was really scary. i had my 2 year old daughter in the car. i can't imagine what would have happened if i were on the highway with a truck behind me! this is a known issue and i know it's being investigated, but this needs to go away. this is so so unsafe!

On august 16, 2019, while driving under a toll both on a turnpike, the automatic emergency breaking system engaged (flashing lights, warning beeps and a grinding noise) while i was driving about 30 to 40 mph, causing the car to stall and forcibly jerk. this almost caused me to collide against the toll booth. there was no obstruction ahead. this had already happened 2 other times and the dealership could not find anything wrong with it. i took it immediately after it happened the third time and the dealership acknowledged that they had a technical service bulletin (tsb) and reprogrammed the sensors. on their notes, they wrote "reprogram icc and adas control units (warranty) (applicable tsb)". i have driven under a toll booth after and have not experienced anything similar, however, this should have been a recall as this almost caused an accident. my rogue only has a little over 20,000 miles on it.

This is my second report, i paid for an abs control update for my nissan rouge 2017 and two weeks later my rouge started stopping again and slowing down again while driving it. i have kept this vehicle parked in my garage because i am very afraid to drive it because it is unsafe. i feel cheated because i'm still paying a note on a car that i cannot drive because it is unsafe for anyone. i received a notice in the mail from nissan to bring my 2017 nissan rouge in to have the same update only this time they are offering the update for free, i have no faith that the update will work. i'm just getting the run around from nissan,

I was pulling into a driveway in the city, and then aeb started to beep and then suddenly stopped the car (the brakes made a grinding noise, they stopped that hard). there was no obstruction in front of the sensor, and i was already applying the brake and going less than 10 mph.

My car suddenly braked on its own while traveling at 40 miles per hour without a car or object in front of my car.

Reference total brake failure; 8 issues already reported to nhtsa on the nissan rogue, involving 8 wrecks, 5 injuries, guess they are waiting for someone to be killed before addressing the situation. i was west bound i-76 out of denver co in my 2017 nissan rouge, when we came upon an accident scene in the extreme left lane next to the east/west concrete lane divider, i slowed down with the rest of the traffic as we attempted to merge into the right lane to get around the accident, traffic was moving at about 10-15 mph or slower, as i looked at the right lane for space to merge, a car in the right lane jumped in fornt of me into the lane the accident was in, that lane was stopped, he then slammed on his brakes, i had about15-20 feet between us, i hit my brakes hard, the pedal went all the way to the floor, no brakes. i told wife to hang on we then hit his car coming in contact with his bumper hitch which stuck out about 10 inches.i was standing on the brake so hard my leg cramped up! we both got our of our cars, he saw no damage to his, got back in and left the scene as the lane had then started moving again, as we were past the accident. actually the vehicles involved in the accident we were avoiding had been moved to the left safety lane but one a pickup was protruding into left lane of traffic causing us to have to merger to the right to pass, but still stay in basic left lane, that was when he made move in front of me..have been driving 64 years, 40 professionally, never had a charge accident. now have one due to failure of the brakes on 2 year old car with 25,000 miles on it.. not the first time for nissan as stated above, are they waiting for people to get killed before they address a major safety issue? at the least a vehicle check should be issued to nissan! we needed to rent a car from enterprise to finish our trip, over $4500 damage to the vehicle.

The feb system would brake my car randomly, especially in parking garages. i would be in an open lane with no cars in front of me. it's concerning when there are cars behind me. i got the system updated at my last service appointment, it does seem to happen less, but it still occurred once since then. however, this shouldn't occur at all.

At 8000 miles, i had to have the right front strut replaced, and now i have 23,000 miles on it and i am going on my 4th strut, right front. a popping clicking noise when i turn or back up. driving a 4 hr trip, while driving about 3 hrs, the air conditioning froze up and stopped working. i could hear the fan on full blast but nothing was coming out. i turned it off for 20 minutes and then it came back on with cool air. it is in the shop now for a heater/cooler box and the 4th strut replacement.

While driving about 35 miles an hour on an empty city street the emergency breaking system kicked in and the tires screeched out of nowhere.

I was driving on a public road (speed limit 45), going about 45 mph. when i was going through an intersection and had a green light, the emergency automatic braking system started engaging, beeping fist. there were no cars in or near the intersection. after several warning beeps, the eab system started engaging the brakes, indicating that a crash was imminent. again, there was no cars near or by us. the brakes were applied by the car, and it took a moment before the brakes eased up and i could apply the gas pedal. we were going straight through the intersection.

At 11,500 the car decreased in braking ability. the dealer was going to charge an enormous amount just to look at the brakes. took the car to our reliable mechanic to receive the trust and not be ripped off. the rotors are glazed which prevents the brakes to stop the car quickly. nissan refused to take care of this problem. it is drivable because it does stop, just not quickly. but at inspection time, it probably won't pass. at 13,100, the serpentine belt and the alternator let go while driving. this was covered under warranty, but should not happen at 13,100 miles. this happened while driving the car. the car jerked and pulled over immediately and towed to the dealership.

On at least 5 different occasions the forward collision warning on our 2017 nissan rogues (we own two) has gone off for no apparent reason. some were on a highway around 55mph, some were on residential roads around 25mph. if we ignore it and don't hit the brakes it ends up braking the car automatically.

Monday, 04/15/2019 @ approximately 1000 hours cst, while driving e-bound on i274 (chicago) our vehicle's (2017 nissan rogue, awd) braking system engaged (hard) on its own and the steering temporarily locked up. e-bound i274 traffic was congested and moving @ around 45 to 50 mph. we were traveling @ a safe distance (estimate 3 car lengths) from the vehicle in front of us. vehicles behind us had to brake hard to avoid rear-ending our vehicle. driving our vehicle was my spouse, i was in the front passenger seat and my 12 year old granddaughter was in the rear seat (driver's side). my best guess ...the unassisted braking action and locked steering seem to last 3-5 seconds. we immediately contacted the dealer of purchase to inquire as to the severity of the problem. they were not familiar with the symptoms/problem. we scheduled a service appointment for the 16th of april, 2019. took the vehicle in and they could not determine the problem causing the vehicle to brake on it's own. they did note, on the work order/invoice that there is a "tsb related to .activation of feb few aeb". $95.00 charge assessed for their service. thursday, 18 april 2019 @ approximately 2300 hours my spouse and granddaughter were returning from a play, while pulling into the driveway of our residence our vehicle repeated emergency braking and locked steering action. this unassisted action while driving is extremely dangerous!!!!!!

My nissan brakes at a set of emergency lights outside a fire station. i reported it to nissan within a month of getting my car and was told they were looking in to it. the dealer thought i was making it up. it doesn't happen every time, but day or night seems to be less if i go faster than the posted speed limit. i got a letter that i can have it 'fixed' but the dealership didn't have a clue how to do it, they had my car overnight and said they had to order a part, then when i complained miraculously the part was in and i needed to bring my car back, but was told 'this is not a recall, it is just fix. i think it needs to be a recall. i have seen cars swerve behind me as my car does such a sudden unexpected braking. the road is a rural road, speed limit is 35. the fire station lights are constant blinking yellow and will turn red so that traffic stops for emergency vehicles to get out on the road in an emergency. my car auto brakes on the yellow blinking has done it about 100 times since owning the car

As i was driving through the parking garage at work, going about 20 mph, my car suddenly and very abruptly came to a screeching halt. my automatic emergency brake warning had beeped only twice before the car stopped. there was nothing in front of my car. no people or car or anything. if anybody had been behind me they might have run into me. this incident happened about a week after i took the car to nissan to have them fix the faulty front sensor. they had first tried an update and then decided to replace the sensor. obviously this did nothing since the sensor still did not work a week later. i took the car back in again and nissan said nothing could be done. they told me i had the option to turn the feature off but every time i turn the car on i have to remember to turn the feature off as it automatically turns itself back on again. this seems unacceptable to me that i am paying lots of money for a car with a feature that has already put my life, as well as others' lives in danger!

Unavailable front radar obstruction, happened while driving

I was travelling in teaneck, nj, going east on churchill road , approaching tthe intersection of windsor road. i attempted to slow my vehicle, in order to make a right turn. i stepped on the brake pedal, but the car did not slow down or stop. as a result, i went through the intersection, hit the curb, and went off the road, finally coming to a stop in a grassy area.

On march 16th i had a accident that was a result of a known issue that nissan is not addressing (more if i at www.nissanproblems.com/aeb ). basically, when leaving a parking garage my car suddenly made beep beep beep sounds and stopped on its own and the car behind me hit my car. i have already reached to the insurance where i would just need to pay $500 deductible for the fix however the fix would only handle the bumper fixing and not the fact that the car is defective. i'd obviously don't want to keep this car. in this case i'd be looking for assistance with nissan, with lease termination and with body injuries. nissan requires the car to be untouched for their 'investigation' in a certified location (they claim my current shop is not certified even though it is listed in their site it is) where the entire process would take between 4-12 weeks. during this time the car can't be touched and of course not driven. no resolution offered to meantime transportation and expense coverage.

'lease started in 08/17 (car has an auto senor (as)) '11/11/17: brought my car to the service center, as activated with no cars around. the shop scanned the system, said there was a radar stain. they cleared the system and gave it back '12/06/17: brought my car to the service center, as activated with no cars around. 'the shop scanned the system, said that there was a radar stain. they cleared the system and gave it back '08/17/2018: brought my car to the service center, there was a recall for the as part. they replaced the senor and reprogramed the system, car was given back '01/14/19: as activated with no cars around it, informed the dealership and they said contact corporate. called consumer affairs and assigned a case manager (cm) '01/15/19: explained my situation to the cm and she explained the process. she informed me i would hear back in 10 days if nissan would buy back my car or put me in another car. the service center manager drove my car, to duplicate the issue but didn't '01/18/19: cm called and informed me i should hear something by 01/23/19 '01/23/19 :cm called and informed me that i will hear something by monday '01/28/19: cm called and informed me that nissan won't buy the car back or put me in another car. i was informed that a corporate technician would come on 02/07/19 to inspect the car. i asked to speak to a manager on 01/29/2019, my cm managers called and informed me that there is nothing they can do and i can call the bbb '02/07/219:technician called to get a specific location of the incident, to try to reenact '02/11/19: cm informed me the technician was unable to reenact the incident and they wouldn't be able to make repairs to the car '03/07/19: as activated and no cars were around it ' called the dealership and brought my car to the service center on 03/12/19. informed that they couldn't do anything and to handle with corporate

While driving at highway speed, the aeb activated for no apparent reason. after receiving a postcard notification from nissan for a "service" issue a few weeks later, we had the vehicle serviced. unfortunately, even after the service, the aeb has activated 2 more times. the vehicle was moving at a very slow speed in a church parking lot. a phone call to nissan stated we should bring the vehicle to the dealer to again have it serviced at the prevailing rate. the vehicle is 500 miles over the warranty so there would be a charge.

Brakes did not engage when braking. was in bumper to bumper traffic let car in front of me to go a 1.5 car lengths before i took foot of the brake never hit the gas coasted until i was 1/2 a car length from the car in front of me and went to hit the brakes again and it did not engage causing me to hit the back of the vehicle in front of me. meanwhile the airbags did not deploy even though impact speed was 2 mph i believe the airbags should have gone off with how far the hood got smashed.

If this feedback goes to main corporate i will be glad to share my experience.i have been trying to get a better service from nissan. bought my new nissan 2017 on december 29th 2017 and i have been to the service department several time in 2018 and 2019 and for a proof you guys can access the repair log. every time they have been changing parts and i feel that this car is has recall or they have sold me the worst defective one. after talking to warranty department as it has been 14000 miles service due, requested them also to provide appraisal. it was devastating and upsetting on talking to the sales director he has appraised my car $17000 , as i have paid $31000 less than 15k miles asked him how come that upsetting price. he told me thats what they can offer. learned lesson that nissan cars are the worst and they have no value even though the car is brand new less than a year model. never ever recommend to anyone

Tl* the contact owned a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving 20 mph, another vehicle was in the contact's blind spot and driving without the headlights illuminated. the contact attempted to stop, but the brakes seized. the contact heard an abnormal bumping noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. the vehicle could not stop and the contact crashed into the other vehicle in his blind spot. the air bag deployed after the crash. the contact sustained injuries to his leg, but did not seek medical attention. a police report was filed. the contact attempted to call momentum nissan (2545 auto mall pkwy, fairfield, ca 94533, (707) 402-3200) where the vehicle was purchased; however, all seven locations after closed after reports of too many vehicles being sold with multiple failures. the vehicle was totaled and towed. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 1,300.

My daughter was at a traffic light behind a jeep. the cars began to drive forward after the light turned green. as they were speeding up, the vehicle in front of her slammed on his brakes and the rogue did not stop and ran into the jeep.i leased this car for safety features that did not do what they are advertised to to do. forward emergency braking did not activate, no audible alerts, and air bags did not deploy. my daughter hit a vehicle in front of her and caused about $8,000 in damage.

Brake warning light comes on dashboard and makes beeping sound when brake is not on, while i'm driving. its been leaking under the dashboard by the foot pedals, almost every time we get a good rain shower in florida. when i get in after a rain and drive, it plus in on my feet or the passenger side.i asked them to check it and they said my windshield is the problem i should take it to my insurance to deal with. the car is extra loud even when window are altho way up. headlights are very weak, you can barely see them on the road at night.

My 2017.5 nissan rogue hybrid emergency brake malfunction light has come on 2x. there was no need for the emergency brakes to be engaged. i was driving my car on the highway with no risk of hitting another object. the light has come on several times with no need for the issue to occur.

Randomly triggers forward emergency brakes without presence of vehicle or pedestrians when car is in motion. happened multiple times on clear days, traveling approximately 30 mph and car brakes automatically. *dt *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving approximately 50 mph, the sensor in the front bumper engaged and locked the brakes, causing the vehicle to slow down. the "system lock-down" indicator illuminated. the vehicle was taken to ted russell nissan (865-223-6744, located at 8565 kingston pike, knoxville, tn 37919) where the sensors were replaced, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered to pay 50 percent of the repair costs. the vehicle was repaired, but the contact stated that the safety issue was not addressed. the failure mileage was approximately 35,000. the vin was not provided.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving approximately 20 mph up a steep incline, the vehicle suddenly stopped accelerating and began to roll backwards down the hill. the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard, but the vehicle would not stop and continued to roll down the hill. the driver shifted from drive to reverse and was able to stop the vehicle. when the engine was turned off and restarted, the vehicle operated normally. the vehicle was taken to the local dealer (robert woodall nissan, 132 union st. bridge rd., danville, va), but the failure could not be duplicated. the dealer found no failures with the vehicle. the manufacturer was notified of the failures. the failure mileage was 13,700.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving approximately 40 mph and attempting to stop the vehicle, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard when it was depressed. the vehicle did not stop and rear ended the preceding vehicle. there was no warning indicator illuminated. the air bags did not deploy. a police report was filed. the contact sustained injuries that later required medical attention. the vehicle was damaged and towed to a private property. the contact called team nissan at (856) 696-2277 (located at 1715 s delsea dr, vineland, nj 08360) and was referred to the manufacturer. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and asked if the contact wanted the vehicle repaired. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 13,000. the vin was not provided.

I purchased my car brand new in march 2018. it has less than 7700 miles on it. on july 30, 2018, i was at a red light (completely stopped) on a dry city street, with my foot on the brake, when my car suddenly lunged forward into the vehicle in front of mine. despite my foot remaining on the brake, the engine continued to rev until i took my foot off the brake and reapplied. i purchased the safety package for my car, and not only did the brakes fail, but the safety package, that is supposed to prevent a collision, also failed.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving 10 mph over railroad tracks, the vehicle's brake lights illuminated and the vehicle seized. the vehicle was taken to the dealer (fred anderson nissan of asheville, 629 brevard rd, asheville, nc 28806, (828)-348-6850) where it was diagnosed that the brakes seized. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. the failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

In early 2018 the emergency braking system has twice fully engaged bringing the vehicle to a stop when no apparent obstruction or vehicle was observed. fortunately both times nobody was behind me. the 1st incident occurred on a city surface street at night. upon returning the next day i saw metal plates placed in the roadway at same location for construction purposes. at the time i suspected the plates caused the emergency braking system to trigger unexpectedly. a several weeks/months later the system again fully triggered when crossing a railroad track on a city surface street. i assumed something on the crossing triggered the radar, although have crossed many times since without incident. both times the braking system engaged there was little to no warning it was about to, just very rapid beeping and immediate brake engagement. i have also had multiple instances where the radar begins to trigger apparently due to fence posts or similar items along roads, but does not engage the brake. i have also had messages the collision sensor has turned itself off only to turn itself back on several hours later or after the car has been shut down and restarted. the emergency braking system should be fixed as the sudden stop should you be in traffic could easily result in an accident and may even cause whiplash among pssengers if traveling at a high rate of speed.

Tl* the contact rented a 2017 nissan rogue. while driving 35 mph, the brake pedal was depressed in an attempt to avoid the preceding vehicle that was involved in a collision. however, the contact rear ended the vehicle anyway. the air bags failed to deploy. the contact sustained injuries to the knees that required medical treatment. the front end, driver's side, and a section of the driver's side fender were damaged. the vehicle was towed to a facility and the contact was waiting for the manufacturer to investigate the air bag failure. a police report was filed. the dealer (hayward nissan, 24644 mission blvd, hayward, ca 94544, (510) 372-2800) was notified, but the vehicle was not diagnosed. the contact was waiting for a response from the manufacturer. the approximate failure mileage was 28,000. *tt *tr

While on city streets, trying to come to a stop i applied the breaks and nothing happened, i then had to let off the pedal and reapply pressure to bring the car to a stop. i took the car into a nissan dealership and they refused to look at the car because i have had it in to have the breaks, engine hesitation, extended engine crank, and an a/c problem fixed 6 times in 5 months. nissan has a tsb out for an electrical problem that has them reset the computer but it does not fix any issues. nissan told me to get the problems to stop i need to cycle the key. when i asked what that meant they said to stop the car, put it in park, turn the car off, and turn it back on. i said even if it happens when i am driving at 70 mph on the highway? they said yes.
