Driving on interstate at approx.70 mph, and cruise control kicked off by itself at least 3 times. then all of a sudden i lost power, it was not like a out of gas loss, it just slowed down. i had the gas pedal floored to maintain speed as i was traveling at 70mph in heavy traffic on interstate. i moved to the outside lane to avoid any chance of an accident and took the next exit to turn around and go back home. when i got onto the entrance ramp back to the interstate, it took me about 1/2 mile at least to get up to speed again. since i got back home everything appears normal but i am afraid to travel any distance in case i should loose power again i have had the vehicle put on the computer monitor and they say nothing is showing as wrong. during this exam i was told that if the engine warning light never came on the computer check would not show anything. at no time during the power outage did the engine warning light or any warning device show up.
Fails to accelerate on long trips, just completely stops accelerating unless vehicle is stopped and allowed to cool off for 10-15 minutes
Vehicle has stalled and would start but not accelerate after filling tank. the engine starts but hesitates then dies. this repeats for at least three times and then the vehicle starts and drives normal. this has occurred at least three times after filling fuel tank in the last year.
While making a turn the car stalled and would not accelerate. i pressed on the gas and the car would barely move. i was able to get it off the road. i then parked and turned the vehicle off. i waited a minute or so before starting it. i did try to put the vehicle in drive and attempt to drive with the same issue. i put the car in park while letting the engine run. waited another 5 minutes and attempted to drive the vehicle again. this time i was able to drive the vehicle, however i am concerned there is an issue. i no longer feel safe while driving this vehicle. this happened in a major intersection
Costco gas station permits me to pump my own gas. when i do now pump the gas, i lock the pump at the handle and the gasoline flows in, but the last 2 times the gas pump shuts off the gas flow prematurely and gas is spilled. and the hose and end fittng (since about a huncred miles ago) this creates a gas spill with every try.
I received 2 different recall letters, called my local dealership& they stated that they have not received the parts yet that they need to fix my car. i do not wish to drive a car around that has 2 different recalls & that cannot be fixed right away.
