Recently reported POWER TRAIN problems on 2011 Nissan Rogue

Total transmission failure at 72,000 miles.

The vehicle required a new transmission at 86k miles. unable to be repaired. there was a lack of acceleration and stuttering.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle lost all power without warning. the contact was able to restart the vehicle. the vehicle was inspected by two independent mechanics who diagnosed the failure as being related to the transmission, and advised the contact to take the vehicle to a nissan dealer. the contact made an appointment with sandy sansing nissan (5705 pensacola blvd, pensacola, fl 32505 (850) 378-3391). the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. the failure mileage was 85,537... .updated 10/04/17 *bf updated 10/13/2017*js

My 7 year old nissan rouge started losing acceleration when i put my foot on the gas, talk about scary and dangerous. no warning lights came on. i took it to a local mechanic and he told me my transmission needed to be replaced. if i travel on the interstate at speeds between 65-75 mph for more than two hours the transmission shuts down and will not shift after coming to a complete stop, regardless of stopping on a hill or flat ground.

In response to the car shuttering around 25 to 35 mph, we took the car to our local mechanic. he reports that there is a problem with the torque converter and will require a transmission replacement by a nissan dealer because he was aware of all of the problems that nissan was having. he informed of of a national recall on earlier models for the same reason. he stated that they clearly have not corrected the problem. with further on-line research, we have confirmed that this is a common problem with the 2011 models.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle lost power and failed to accelerate. the contact heard a whining noise and the rpm gauge displayed a high reading. the contact also noticed a burning odor and the check engine indicator illuminated. the contact did not see any fire or smoke, and the fire department was not contacted. no components were found to have melted. the vehicle was taken to reed nissan (3776 w colonial dr, orlando, fl 32808), but was not diagnosed or repaired. the vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the transmission failed. the contact did have information regarding the necessary repairs. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

Tl* the contact's mother owns a 2011 nissan rogue. the contact stated that the vehicle stalled without warning twice while driving. after the vehicle was restarted and the gear shifter was placed in drive, the vehicle failed to accelerate while the accelerator pedal was depressed. there were no warning indicators illuminated. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the cvt needed to be replaced. the dealer was not notified. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 132,000.

We purchased a 2011 nissan rogue at the end of 2010, and it was a good car in the beginning, however, i started to notice small things here and there that weren't that great. but they would come and go. then one day i opened the left rear door handle, and it broke off!! it looked like a cheap piece of plastic you see at the dollar store. i took it to nissan and they wanted $550!!! ridiculous! i found a good honest mechanic place and they even reduced the cost since it only took them 15 mins to replace it! only costed me $80! so now and again it has also been losing rpms and having difficulty speeding up. my husband was driving from work and on the freeway, and the rpms stopped at 4000 and froze. i wouldn't go over 60mph! he was scared and pulled over to the side of the road. he checked the oil (it was perfect), the inside and saw nothing. he said he smelt a fire type smell while in the inside of the car, but no fires. he slowly got over and pulled off of the freeway and into a car place to have it looked at. i called nissan as the technician stated that there was a recall on the nisan rogue. i called nissan and they stated that it was the 2010 rogue. mine is the 2011 rogue which was purchased at the end of 2010. so i am suppose to believe that they somehow put a better cvt transmission in my rogue which is not that far off from the 2010 that has an extended warranty and recall on it?? hardly, i have seen many many other complaints from people about this vehicle and exact year. i've even called about our rogue a few times when i've heard about recalls, but they've always told me it's only 2010 and my car should be fine. obviously it's not fine, and the car is crap. nissan should stand by their products , and they are not . they will continue to lose good customers that are hard working americans who pay their bills.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle decelerated rapidly without warning. the vehicle was taken to gates nissan of richmond, kentucky where the transmission was replaced; however, the dealer stated that the failure would not be fully resolved until a cooler was placed inside the transmission. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that the part needed (cooler) was not included in the extended warranty of the vehicle. the failure mileage was 106,000.

Takata recall was driving and the rpm's went way up and then came back down then the car would not go over 20 mpg no matter how much gas was given. was driving on a normal road straight not turning.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving 70 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact stated that the vehicle lost power completely and would not accelerate. the vehicle was towed. it was diagnosed that the transmission failed. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 90,000.

A couple of times while driving the car stop suddenly without any warning and the engine slowly died. this is quite worrying because i am not sure how i would cope on a busy interstate road.

My car has 86k miles on it. i was driving on i-95. the speed limit was 75 mph, i was driving 75 mph. suddenly, the rpm's started going out of control. then i lost pick up. i managed to drive the car to the nearest exit. i then had to cross over a busy 4 lane state road in order to get to a safe parking place. the car died as i was attempting to cross over the 4 lanes. a wonderful police officer finally pushed my car to safety. he guessed my transmission had failed. he said it happens all of the time in my type of car. he said the crv transmissions were no good. the transmission had failed. sheehy nissan in mechanicsville, va, the closest dealer, said there were no recalls on the transmission and the cost of a new transmission was $4,600. i had to get an auto body shop to install a transmission from a new car that had been in an accident , for $2660, as i could not afford $4,600. this transmission should not have failed at 86k miles. i am enclosing two bills; one from the dealership for diagnostic fees and one from the autobody shop that did the work.

The car stalls, won't accelerate, and ramps rpm when slowing down. the transmission was replaced by nissan with an extended warranty at 52k miles, and now needs replacing again. the dealer states the transmission has overheated 91 times on this vehicle and also needs a transcooler added. i notice 141 complaints on this site for the same problem, but no investigation. the '08, '09, '10 models have all had their warranties extended. this is a serious safety hazard on a highway when vehicle will not accelerate. someone is going to be hit from behind, as the driver has no way to keep a steady acceleration, or slow the rpm unless the car is turned off and restarted. nissan should replace all transmissions in the rogue.

Takata recall i would like to inform everyone of our issue on our 2011 nissan rogue. while driving on the freeway we lost all power in an instant. this is not safe! we also saw the issue of not being able to accelerate and even when on cruise control it completely falling off due to lack of power.

I have a 2011 nissan rogue and as i was driving down the interstate with my daughter i lost all power to my transmission and was almost hit from the back by a semi. i have had nothing but issues with my transmission loosing power and being stranded with my 5 year old. nissan needs to take accountability for this and get this taken care of.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving 40 mph, the vehicle independently lost power and failed to accelerate above 5 mph without warning. in addition, when the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle jerked forward. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the transmission failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 83,153.

Vehicle loses power going up a mountain at a 40 degree angle for more than 5 miles. vehicle stalls loses power and stalls to a conplete stop. when driven on a flat even surface vehicle has a very sluggish and jerking movement that makes the vehicle lose power and decelerates. vehicle has loss of power when reversing and makes a very loud noise doing so.

This vehicle is a death trap!! completely lost all power when traveling in a highway . as we were heading uphill, the transmission started making a loud whistling noise and acceleration was gone. i almost got hit by an 18 wheeler as i moved to the lane to the right "slow lane " (trucks). i had to move make my way to that lane and even the slowest semi was traveling a lot faster than my vehicle was . i was in the middle of nowhere on the 15 freeway northbound heading towards las vegas and in order for me to safely exit i had no choice but to risk getting hit and killed by big rigs as i moved to the right and got out at the next exit. upon exiting i went to park to a gas station and when i hit reverse to park properly, the car didn't move at all!! at the gas station a good samaritan ran a diagnostic and said the error "torque clutch coverter". in other words the transmission. i googled 2011 nissan rogue and multiple people have reported the same issue ! where they lose all power while traveling in a highway (uphill most of the time). it is unbelievable that nissan has not yet recalled this vehicle !! with so many. war death experiences. coincidentally most issues start at 60k miles once the mfg warranty is up. this is bogus and a total theft by a nissan to the consumer. they should only sell cars that are safe not death traps like the nissan rogue. they've previously recalled vehicles for transmission issues from like 2004-2010 and claim the issue was fixed in all 2011 models but that was not the case. too many people are in danger while driving this car and endangering the lives of others sharing the road with these faulty vehicles. *tr

I have a 2011 nissan rogue that i purchased approximately four years ago and when i purchased it had 33,004 miles on it now has 97,500 the transmission went out on this car as i was driving it down the highway at 70 miles an hour lost all power pulled off the road safely thank god i had a tractor and trailer right behind me going the same speed it was kind of scary. come to find out my transmission is no good i still have two years to pay on this car i contacted nissan usa they will not help me i called the dealership that i bought the car from will not help me i feel these cars are danger if someone was to lose power and get rear-ended so i ended up getting 64,000 miles for a $32,000 vehicle that's pretty sad to say i hope that someone starts a civil suit to make nissan fix this problem i know that they had issues with the 2008 through 2010 nissan rogue's they fix their problem i feel they just push the 2011 through with the same cvt transmission for the money that people spend their hard earned money i feel i should have to help people out and including myself

With low miles on my car i had a complete cvt transmission failure without warning. it started with one bump backing up. i pulled out and had power loss for a short while. when i tried to pull out into traffic again, i almost got hit and the car bucked as i crossed the road and tried to make it to a nearby parking lot. i could only go about 10 mph and it felt like the front end was going to drop as it bucked down the road. when i made it to the parking lot, it wouldn't move at all and it had to be pulled onto a flat bed. the transmission shop, recommended a new transmission because it would be cheaper than trying to rebuild the cvt transmission. as they tried to find a transmission for my vehicle, they said they found many that were pulled due to damage which told them the nissan cvt transmission was junk. they recommended that i use it til the new warranty expired and then maybe sell the vehicle. i was the only driver of the car and babied it and changed the fluids and ended up trading the car on another as i could not trust the rogue to be safe pulling into traffic as it failed us and almost got us hit. the car is sold, but i want it on record how dangerous the situation was when the cvt transmission went out without any warning beforehand.

2011 nissan rogue. consumer writes in regards to a defective transmission. *ld the consumser stated the manufacturer was notified, but did not offere any assistance. the dealer advised the consumer to include an aftermarket oil cooler kit since the replacement transmission would also be defective. updated 10/31/2017*js

The 2011 nissan rogue has a problem that is common with all of them. when going uphill in the vehicle it looses speed and can no longer accelerate. the car will slow down to around 40 mph. it depends usually on the grade of the hill. this is a safety issue as semi trucks can go faster than what the vehicle is going while going uphill. cars are trying to pass semi trucks and if the semi truck has to slow down going up hill then they get road raged and this is very dangerous. nissan will not recognize this issue and demand that an investigation be launched for this type of car. i know that many complaints have been submitted on multiple car complaint websites about this specific issue with this exact year and model of car. if it is happening in many of the vehicles then it is something that is built into the car that nissan should know about and should be help responsible to fix. another common result in all the vehicles, this issue just happens to occur right after the warranty expires...50,000 miles.

When driving up an incline or hill, loud winning noise is heard when rpms get up to 3. car has approximately 90,000 miles.

I was traveling to sacramento from los angeles in oct. 2016. after driving for about 4 hours my car started to lose speed. i pushed the pedal all the way to the floor and i could not accelerate any faster. i pulled off the freeway and waited for a little while and then got back on the road and then warning light came on and never went off. on the way home i was headed up the grapevine (i-5 south) and i lost speed again and pulled over to the truck lane going uphill and my speed dropped as low as 20 mph and that was with me pushing the pedal all the way to the floor. i had several semi-trucks behind me and could not change lanes without possibly causing an accident. i was very scared and once i made it up the hill i was able to gain a little speed going downhill and continued home. ii took my car to a mechanic and he told me that it was an issue w/my transmission. i called nissan and since i was barely over my warranty i was told that i would have to pay for my transmission myself and i was very upset as my car had just over 60,000. i started researching my issue and discovered this was a common, known problem with nissan and rogue's in particular. this is very dangerous and i hope they do something before someone loses their life. having your speed drop so dramatically on a busy interstate w/several semi-trucks is very frightening. since then i have not driven my car on trips over 2 hours away because i don't feel safe. i had this same type of problem months before on a trip to las vegas but just let it go because no warning light came on and i thought it was a fluke. i was completely shocked to see that nissan knows of this problem w/the transmission and has done nothing to fix it. i now have a rattling noise coming from my car and i'm afraid to see what that is going to cost me. i only drive to/from work and work less than 5 miles from my home. ugh!!

I have a 2011 nissan rogue and within the past 2 months, i have been experiencing loss of acceleration on a minimal uphill slope. both times, i was on the expressway driving about 70-75 and my speed immediately decreases to 60 and below. when i pressed the gas pedal to accelerate, nothing happened. my rpms were in the red zone- which has never happened before- and i almost got rear ended by a semi the 2nd time it happened. i immediately pulled off the road and took my car to the nearest mechanic. the diagnosis was a transmission code but because my car has a cvt transmission, he recommended taking it to a nissan dealership as there has been many reported issues with cvt models, so much so that the warranty got extended. upon further research, the extended warranty only covers 2003-2010 models. when i called nissan, they of course told me i was outside of warranty as its only 5 years or 60k miles and outside of the extended warranty. they quoted me at $3600+ tax for a new transmission as they said it was the torque converter that is the issue. there are multiple forums online with story after story of the same issue being experienced by many nissan drivers yet nissan fails to take responsibility and address the fact that models after 2010 are experiencing the identical issues covered in the extended warranty. this is not an isolated incident. nissan is knowingly placing faulty transmission in their vehicles then refusing to cover the service costs due to "expired warranties". furthermore, lets address the fact that this is a severe safety hazard for drivers. imagine driving and all of a sudden losing acceleration- will it take multiple accidents and god forbid, deaths, for nissan and their executives to own up to their mistake? nissan should learn from toyota's faulty air bag scandal and rectify the issue immediately to prevent bodily injury to unsuspecting drivers. *tr

Power train failure!! death risk!! while on a road trip, my car completely lost power. my family and i were in complete danger. after driving about 50 miles, i lost all speed at the el cajon pass (15 fwy north, heading towards victorvile, ca). i was driving at an uphill incline when i noticed my speed was decreasing and i begain to make my way to the right. the far right lane, the "slow lane" is used by semi- trucks and even though they travel at at slow speeds they were traveling at a much higher speed. i had no choice but to cross through it and it was a miracle that we were able to get into that lane and exit the highway unharmed. i thought we were going to die smashed by an 18 wheeler. there are almost 200 complaints for this year, make, model stating the same issue just on this site, and there is many more on other sites. please look into it before someone loses their life. ive contacted nissan and they refuse to acknowledge any responsibility. nissan had to issue a recall for the exact same issue on cvt transmissions on previous models up to year 2010 but wont admit to 2011 vehicles having the same malfunctioning transmission. these vehicles are unsafe and can potentially cause preventable deaths. no one should be allowed to sell defective vehicles. please investigate this safety hazard. lets protect our families.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rogue. while driving approximately 30 mph, the transmission went into safe mode. the rpms increased and the vehicle was difficult to accelerate. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 98,000.

While driving down the highway at highway speeds 75mph all of a sudden my vehicle would not go any faster than 40 mph, accelerator to the floor. this happened to me on a few different occasions, however no warning lights ever came on. if i pulled over and shut the car off it seemed to perform "normal" again. and this only happened to me when i was on the highway driving a long distance. upon the return from my last "long" trip a light did come on. i tool it to my dealer immediately. the diagnosis in a valve body, which i understand is inside the transmission. the factory warranty has run out (by 6,000 miles) at this point and the dealer is saying that they wont replace the valve body without putting an "external coolant" on at the same time, because that is what nissan is saying needs to be done to prevent this from happening again. my 3rd party warranty company will only cover the cost of the valve body replacement, because they feel it is not their responsibility to pay for something that nissan should be going good for. nissan wants to charge me $1000.00 for that external coolant!!!! after doing my research, this is an on going problem and up until model year 2010 nissan was going good for the issue. anything beyond 2010 they will not. after contacting nissan to request assistance for this, they informed me that my request was denied and that this is where they stand. my bigger issue is that how can a company as reputable as nissan not go good for a manufacturing mistake on their part!? how is it my problem that they didn't out this coolant on in the first place, and how is it not a safety recall when you are driving on the highway at 70+ mph and then suddenly cant go any faster than 40!!? is it because nobody has been killed yet!? if you do your research you will clearly see that this is an on going issue with this vehicle as well as others manufactured by nissan. *tr

Cat transmission overheats and subsequently will not accelerate after driving at highway speeds for over an hour. very dangerous. the first incident took me completely by surprise on a highway in dallas entering dfw. i feel like this is the definition of a lemon but also very dangerous when not disclosed.

Transmission suddenly and without warning has close to 100% loss of power. three times this happened when stopped and attempting a left turn with on coming traffic, narrowly avoiding a bad accident. even with accelerator pedal to the floor car would barely move. car is very dangerous and is at a repair facility waiting for a new transmission.

Car has very slow to no acceleration from a start. sometimes it stops accelerating in reverse. this does not matter if car is cold or driven for a while.

While driving at 65 mph on the new jersey turnpike, the car suddenly dropped in acceleration to 40mph. pressing on the gas caused the rpm to rev, however no change in speed occurred. upon inquiring about this issue, i came to find out that this is a common problem with nissan's cvt components that the company is aware of, however no recall has been issued. extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves, using the car for a prolonged period of time, and traveling uphill have been documented to trigger the loss of acceleration. this common flaw found with nissan cars is highly dangerous and will inevitably result in the loss of life.

While driving a 2011 nissan rogue back from the dealership, the engine light came on and the vehicle stopped accelerating. the accelerator was pressed to the floor and nothing happened at all. luckily, i was alone in the vehicle and not my wife and two young kids. that could have be devastating if loss of acceleration occurred on the freeway. this vehicle is equipped with a cvt transmission which nissan is apparently is aware of but refuses to fix even with the mass amount of complaints that currently exist.

Car won't accelerate on freeway after driving for an hour. also doesn't accelerate after leaving freeway and at a stop light. scary and almost got into an accident

The car makes a whining noise (sounds like a wind up toy) and have experienced loss of power. i was on a road trip in july of 2016, had driven a couple of hours, driving on the highway (75 mph) and suddenly lost power/could not accelerate - dropped down to 20mph with the gas pedal pushed all the way down to the floor. later that same trip, after pulling off to get gas, the car would not go at all while at a red stop light that had turned green-with the gas pedal pushed all the way to the floor again. have since lost power while on the highway dropping speed from approximately 70mph to 25-30 with gas pedal pushed all the way to the floor.

Nissan has had and continues to have transmission problems, they did a recall for transmission failure up to year 2009. i have a 2011 nissan rogue with 80,000 miles and i just received a call saying that my transmission needs to be replaced. this cvt transmission has always had problems and nissan knows this but they wont and know one in the govt will do anything to hold them accountable.

My car has 67,000 miles and needs a new transmission... gets hot and fails losing power and makes noises... no acceleration almost had accident. this is scary and unfair i had it looked at and the cvt transmission is failing.

June 23, 2016 - i was driving on i-75 from atlanta, ga to orlando, fl going about 70 miles per hour. after driving about an hour, the car began to decelerate no matter how hard i stepped on the accelerator. i had experienced this problem before, but each time i had taken the car to nissan, they told me that they were unable to detect the problem. i had even taken my car to the dealership on june 14th to get it "checked out" before my long drive. during that visit, i again complained of the problem i was having and they were unable to find anything. i was able to get to macon, ga to another nissan dealership where they identified the problem as the transmission. they told me that the transmission needed to be replaced and a transmission coolant needed to be installed. i left my car there (june 23rd) and as of today, july 10th, they are still working on my car. first there was a delay in getting the part, although they promised the part on june 24th. now they are having problems with the machine used to fix the transmission. although they provided a loaner, i still want my car. as others have mentioned, these transmissions are a known issue in nissans and in most cases, you will not have an issue until you are out of your warranty. nissan has issued an extended warranty (110,000 miles) on all models through 2010, but nothing on the 2011 rogue. my car was at 93,000 and > 5 years, so now i am stuck for close to $5000 to get it repaired.

June 20, 2016: traveling at 70 mph on i-70 in colorado, less than 50 miles west of grand junction, co, my 2011 nissan rogue, suddenly lost power on a gradual uphill climb. no engine light or warning light was noted on the console. on steeper inclines, the rogue would not exceed 35 mph. had to activate the hazard warning lights to avoid vehicles, including semi-trailers, from running into the rear of the rogue. this was a nerve-wracking safety concern all the way to grand junction. took the rogue to the nissan dealer in grand junction. the diagnostic review concluded that the rogue requires a new transmission and cooler. $4655 total. the rogue has 59,750 miles. have become aware that the cvt transmission in nissan vehicles, including the rogue have a history of failure. after this experience, my wife informed me that she had the exact same problem on a trip from denver, co to reno, nv in march 2016.

At 67,000 both cv boots are blown, had to replace, now the cvt issue with the transmission, no acceleration, transmission gears reverse and drive, i want a refund. i purchased this used car 1 year and 3 months ago. unsafe i have my children in the car. vehicle can be at 60 mph, and then drop to nothing with no warning. i want a full refund of the purchase price i paid for it i am terrified to keep driving it

Please remove my previous complaint for vin # [xxx] the problem has been solved and the warranty company is replacing the transmission. just found out the good news today. thank you! information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

After driving the car for a couple of hours continuously, especially on the highway, the transmission bogs down and the car will barely go. nissan has a tsb out on this issue for several of their models that have the cvt transmission. my rogue has 120,000 miles on it and i'm on my third transmission due to this problem.

I am beyond upset and down right frustrated with nissan. both of the nissan i have owned have had the transmissions go out in them. one at 120,000 miles and the other at under 85,000. this is a safety hazard and could potentially kill someone! i just had a used transmission with 22,000 put in and the same [xxx] issue is happening. i owe over 10k on my vehicle and am going to have the hardest time selling this. frankly, i feel guilty selling this to anyone. i have been jipped along with countless others from what i have read online. the car will not accelerate in reverse and in drive when the pedal is pressed all the way to the floor. the slip light will come on and make an awful whining/grinding sound. this car needs to be recalled and off all roads before it injures or kills more people! information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

Brought car to mechanic because car was making grinding noise. after checking, mechanic found cvt transmission failing. car is only at 35000 miles. not cover by warranty because i had the car pass 60 months. apparently this is a issue with cvt transmission with previous rogue. warranty was extended for models up to 2010. not 2011 model, even though is the same exact car.

Car will not accelerate, the rpms race but the car will not accelerate properly. it is very dangerous when driving in traffic.

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan rouge. while driving approximately 50 mph, the vehicle jerked and completely lost power in the middle of the road. there was no warning indicator. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and recommended a new transmission. the contact decided to tow the vehicle to a local dealer who diagnosed and replaced the transmission. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in a recall and was out of warranty. the transmission was replaced. the contact stated that the failure recurred two days later and the vehicle was towed back to the local dealer; however, the technician was unable to duplicate the failure. the failure mileage was 62,000.

My 2011 nissan rouge started decelerating about 6 months ago when i had approx. 81,000 miles. i was driving on interstate 95 doing 70 mph when the power suddenly decreased and the car began to shake and making banging noise. fortunately i was near a shoulder and could pull over. as days went on this occurred more and more frequently until it happened each time i attempted to drive over 40. i am now forced to take back roads wherever i go so i don't risk causing/being in an accident. the car is unsafe and i'm on borrowed time before the transmission goes completely. i can't afford to replace the transmission right now and i need to get to work. i started researching the problem and come to find that this is a known, dangerous defect by nissan. i'm upset and extremely disappointed that the car maker hasn't recalled the affected cars and fixed them. it's only a matter of time before someone is killed.

Cvt transmission decelerates after driving vehicle over one hour. have taken to dealer and they say no codes cannotvfic. almost was in serious accidentvon highway with grandchild three different occassions and had vegicle towed over 5 times for same issur.

I was on the highway and my vehicle would not accelerate . had it towed to nissan said it was the transmission
