When driving this car long distances on the interstate when you come to a stop the car will not move for a while then it takes off. my daughter and i both have a rogue. hers is a 2008 and mine is a 2010 they both do the same thing. hers is worse then mine. she had to sit through a entire green light and half of another one before the car decided to move. you never know when its going to take off and could take off in front of on coming traffic. i have read statements of other owners of rogues that are having the same problems. this car needs to be recalled. the dealership says it can't fix the problem because they can't duplicate it. unless they take the car on a long trip down the interstate they won't be able to duplicate it. please do something about this car before someone gets killed. *tr

After an extended time of driving on the highway my 2010 nissan rogue will not accelerate after coming to a complete stop when i hit the accelerator for about a minute, then it jerks forward and works again. i brought it into bill kay nissan to have it looked at and i was told it was "normal" and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. i have been stuck at a left turn lane after the light has turned red without being able to move. the dealership was not helpful at all, telling me that their computer wasn't able to find any error codes. *tr

Nissan rouge 2010 - it has only been 5 months since i bought a brand new rogue 2010 from victory nissan chesapeake. i received a recall card from them regarding a throttle noise. i took my car for change oil and the nissan service did a reprogram to eliminate the noise. the noise had lessened. thinking that it is a brand new car, i did an observation and waited for my second change oil and complained about the noise in my car again and the brake that felt like it's losing a thread when you step on it. after my change oil, i was told that my transmission needs to be replaced. however, the dealer has to order it and will call me back in 2-3 days. a week had passed and i did not receive a call. i called nissan usa to complain about the service and i have been driving this car knowing that there is a problem and have complained about the break and the transmission. i called back again and the service agent just told me that the transmission is not yet in. i was driving in the rain when the accelerator just kept going even if i was not pressing on it. i was concerned and took the car back to the dealer and was given a rental car. i bought a fully loaded car but was given a lemon car. i could've been dead by now if i am still driving that car for who knows what will happen next if the accelerator and brake will not be controlled. i kept calling nissan but i did not receive any response. one of the sales in the dealer told me that this was the 3rd rogue 2010 transmission problem that was reported in the same place. a very unsat costumer service and dealer services by letting an unsafe car to be on the road! *tr

When slowing to a stop after a long (2 hours) period of driving at highway speeds, the car could not then accelerate after a stop. the rpms would rev to between 2-3,000 but the car would not accelerate for a few seconds. in intersections, this was dangerous because it could cause an accident. the car only has 500 miles on it. an initial trip to the dealership said that there were no codes and no problem. on the return trip, after an extended highway drive, the same problem occurred. the car is unsafe to drive in its current condition and is going back to the dealership tomorrow. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2010 nissan rogue. while traveling 15-30 mph and turning in any direction the contact heard a vibration inside and outside of the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to the dealership where the contact had the rear differential and transmission replaced; however, the failure was still present in the vehicle. the vin was not available. the current mileage was 1500 and the failure mileage was 10.

After driving the vehicle on the interstate for 45 miles, i got off on my exit it just lost power. it would not accelerate and when it did, it was slow. would not go 40mph. it didn't matter how much i pressed the accelerator pedal, it would not go. i was holding up traffic and it was scary. nissan of saint augustine florida said they could find no fault or codes. today (almost 2 months later) it did the same thing. this time it was raining and almost got into an accident. i think something is wrong with the vehicle, maybe a lemon. it did this several times before, but this time i'm going to ride with the mechanic or i'm have to create a video of the incident, just incase they don't believe me. *tr
