Door lock froze to due the cold weather. nissan rogue was in a garage when the incident occurred. this same problem has happened the last 3 years and nissan has always fixed the problem until now. dealership is saying that the cost of repair will be $800. i will never buy a nissan again and they have the worst customer service of any major car company i have ever dealt with. *tr

The front driver's and passenger's door would not open from the outside. i have called nissan to find out if there is a recall for my vehicle since i have seen all the other problems online that other people were having the same problem and they said no there was not and to take it into a dealership to have it looked at. *js

Http://www.petitiononline.com/petitions/nissanml/signatures?page=21 my lock actuator has gone bad and i was informed by my nissan dealership this is a known issue and it she be placed on a recall list. i did a little research and it looks like many different rogues have the same issue. this is a very costly fix and due to faulty manufacturing we as consumers have to buy another with hopes that it will continue to work. my car is not old there should be no reason to replace this part so soon. *tr

Defective door handle/locking assembly. both front doors handle assembly froze up preventing me from opening both doors. it cost me $480 for the repairs to both doors. in the mean time my wife had climb from the back seat to ppt he door from the inside. even though the car was out warranty and nissan did pay for the cost of the parts, i feel this should have been covered as a safety recall. nissan says there no way to prevent it from happening again. i am very disappointed in nissan and most likely will not purchase another vehicle from them in the future. *tr

Both drivers door and front passenger door locks not working. they are not unlocking with remote or key. the remote opens the rear doors only, then you have to climb in and reach the inside front latch to open the door. then get out the vehicle and enter thru the front door. nissan had or has recall on the 2008 rouge for the same problem. why not on the 2009 rogue? i goggled my problem with the vehicle and found thousands of people with the same problem. we need a recall on the 2009 as well. thanks for listening. *tr

The driver's, passenger's and rear driver's door locks do not lock/unlock properly. it began with the driver's side door failing to operate properly once every 3-4 weeks. i had the door handle recall work completed in march 2011 so i thought the remote's battery was weak and replaced it in december 2011. then the malfunction started to occur more frequently. after a few months, the driver's door lock would not unlock for entry to the car or lock once i was inside. to gain entry to the car, i would have to open the driver's rear door and reach forward to unlock the driver's side door. i had the driver's side door lock replaced in march 2012. now the passenger door is inoperative as well as the rear driver's side door. i must get in the car and reach to lock/unlock the doors from the inside. if ever quick entry or exit from the car is needed, someone is going to be harmed. a child in a car seat, a person with limited mobility or the ability to make a quick decision is trapped unless i am able to quickly reach to lock/unlock the doors. i have filed a complaint with nissan who tells me the car is out of warranty and that they will give me a $500 dealer assistance towards a $1700 bill for a defective system. i found on the internet other 2009 rogue owners with the same complaint. the murano and the juke have also been recalled for this problem. *tr
