Vehicle begins to shake roughly when going 55mph or more. the wobble even made my seatbelts lock up. seems to be coming from around the tires maybe the suspension. the suspension looks just fine, didnt seem loose, yet at highway speeds feels very dangerous! nothing noticeable while driving through town.
We took the vehicle into vavoline and they told us that the car's transmission pan is almost rusted out and we have a 4 major leaks under our vehicle so bad that the block under the vehicle and the front axel is wet from the fluid leaks. we bought the car two days ago and brought it back to return it today because we were not told about any of these issues and they told us we were not going to get our money back. even though it would not pass a state emissions test with all those leaks and she not have been sold to us.
On friday, january 24th at approximately 11:50am, my sunroof exploded on my 2015 nissan rogue. weather was dry, road conditions dry and free of debris. outside temperature between 52 and 56 degrees. no overpasses were traveled under. no traffic in front of me. traveling at approximately 60 ' 63mph. i heard a loud explosion and glass fell from the sunroof onto the me, the middle console, both front floor mats, the passenger seat, rear seat and rear floor on both sides. explosion blew up, not down, with the glass pushed upwards at the open, shattered edges.
As i was driving to work, the stationary portion of the panoramic sunroof suddenly exploded and shattered. it sounded like a gunshot and there was a hole in the center of the sunroof. i was not near any other vehicles and nothing struck the car. it spontaneously exploded. this problem should be fixed before someone is hurt.
The cvt is slipping from 1st gear to 2nd gear and also goes in "limp mode". the rpm's rev up to 6 and the speed is only at 40mph. there is some whinning noise also
The forward breaking emergency system keeps shutting down and showing a flashing warning light on my dash. the radar has already been replaced once, but the sign persists any time it is below 30* f outside.
I noticed recently that my vehicle's heater is not working properly, when i turn on the defogger/ heater, the passenger side works fine, but the driver's side only blows cold air, which, when living in the north east is a problem on cold days as the window will fog up while driving. also, this causes me (the driver) to have to resort to wearing a scarf and gloves while driving as it's my side that is freezing. i've done some research and notice that this is a common problem with the nissan rogue, and that any attempts to re mediate the problem is only temporary and has been known to happen again. this winter (2019-2020) has been extra cold so i only noticed this now when trying to warm up the car.

Drivers side door occasionally will not open. it can never be opened from outside, but there have been several times when i'm inside and go to open the door to get out, and it wont open. this is with engine turned off, car in park, and doors unlocked. in an emergency, such as car stalling on a railroad track/car sinking in a pond/engine on fire - i could be stuck inside!
The nissan rogue has a cvt transmission, which is known to fail. and has to replaces and not repaired or rebuilt.
