My car key was not starting the car last few weeks and i replaced the battery of the key. that seemed to fix the issue, but on that day the "no key" message showed again. after a few tries i was able to start the car. after a few mins i started hear a smell and smoke, pulled over and fire started. some one in the parking lot had an extinguisher and i was able to extinguish the fire the fire started from the floor between driver seat and the door after the fire i can see that the power cable area is where it started

The following has happened 5 times. everything on the vehicle powers off, without warning ~ steering, light,s brakes, etc. the vehicle slowly stops and nothing can be done. (immediately prior, the fuel gauge shows 1/4 a tank and the trip computer shows 60 miles left on the current tank. we put gas in it and everything starts to work again. nissan sent me a postcard stating that they were aware of the problem and would be fixing it when parts are available. i called nissan today and parts will not be available until august!!!!! *tr
