Tl* the contact owns a 2007 nissan quest. the contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the speedometer abruptly displayed a reading of 45 mph. the anti lock braking system and tracking control system lights also illuminated during the failure. the contact maneuvered to the shoulder and shut the vehicle off. upon restart, the contact was able to safely drive the vehicle to an authorized dealer. the contact was informed that the anti lock braking actuator and wheel bearings needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 87,000. the consumer state the brake actuator was replaced.
