We have classified the 3 complaints from 2005 Nissan Quest about AIR BAGS into the following categories.
Air bag warning light came on for a few weeks and then went off, then on again. the code read that the air bags was not functioning and the passenger front air bag was shorted out.
Fuel gauge is not displaying as well as the odometer and temperature- previous owners have the same issue and current litigation had been placed for same model and same or different years.. air bag sensor on front seat passenger is not active but a small adult is on the seat. similar recalls had been happening on this model but not expanding through many vin#s brake- similar recalls had been happening on this model but not expanding through many vin#s. an accident doesn't need to happen in order to recall those car that are suffering the same diagnosis on current/approved recalls. an action must be taken. *tr
2004 nissan quest minivan had all side airbags delpoy while traveling 65 mph with no accident to cause the deployment. nissan has been ubable to explain the reason for deployment and has agreed to fix the van but provides no assurance that the vehicle is safe. i have repeatly asked for the cause of the errant and unsafe deployment of all of the side air bags and expressed my concerns about the safety of the vehicle. nissan is unresponsive to my safety concerns.
While driving. the air bag deployed with out warning. please provide any further information. *nm
