The sliding door's top pins came off the track, which resulted in the passenger sliding door dangling. only the bottom hinge was keeping the door attached to van. *mr when opened, the passenger side sliding door came out of the top tracks, leaving the door suspended only by the bottom sliding hinge. this was without warning, however, the driver side sliding door had been exhibiting symptoms of trouble with opening. the rollers in the top tracks had apparently broken off the pins. the consumer requested reimbursement of the amount of the repair cost. other problems: the radio disply was inoperative. *sc *jb
Heater coil failed, leaking coolant inside of the vehicle. headlights fail while driving. gas pedal binds causing suddening acceleration. seatbelt fails to connect fully.*ak
After engine is running for over 500 miles,(ie road trip)the van starts to buck and buck, engines hesitakes,no power is this a engine vapor lock problem. dealer could find no problem with engine test machine.
I have a 2000 nissan quest, i have had to replace the connector to the passenger side headlight 3x's since aug of 2002. the connecto burns out. the most recent incident was 07/10/03. my husband replaced the connector and it burnt out by the next day 07/11/03. my concern is an electical fire. *ak
The radio display would go intermittent, displaying radio info only part of the time. continual degradation in the weeks to follow. the radio display permantly does not display radio info although all radio functions work.*ak nissan will not cover it since it started about a week after the warranty expired.
