My 2017 nissan pathfinder has a faulty occupancy sensor and per nissan my 2017 nissan pathfinder is not included with the massive occupancy sensor recall including over 3,000,000,000 nissans. https://www.cars.com/articles/nissans-massive-airbag-recall-what-owners-need-to-know-1420684514439/ this is a safety issue as the airbags will not deploy with a faulty sensor. nissan claims the sensor is faulty due to things such as a water bottle being found under the seat. because my suv is out of warranty due to miles nissan will not cover the repair. i suspect the recall should be expanded as i wonder how many other nissans owners are told their occupancy sensors are broken due to their own actions rather than being faulty. shame on you nissan.
