My exterior brake lights seem to be stuck in the 'on' position. when this happens i cannot fully accelerate, i'm able to switch the gear from park to reverse without applying pressure to the brake pedal. the ignition can also be started without the brake pedal being pressed. the exterior lights remai on even after the truck as been turned off.
Brake lights stay on even when the engine is off, and when the engine is on, the brake lights still stay on even when the brakes aren't being pressed. also, sometimes the car won't accelerate when you push the gas pedal. this occurs after you hit the brakes, and when it happens, the vehicle won't go over 20 mph.
