The sunroof on my vehicle exploded. the roof was closed and as i was driving down the road i heard the explosion. the sound was defining and sounded like a bomb or gun had discharged. when i pulled over to look the glass was pointing upward like a large force had blown it out. if the shade had not been closed i would have had significant damage to my head and face. *tr
Takata recall, i've been told several times that my vin number is not part of the recall. i was recently in accident with major front end damage. i rear ended an suv in the brooklyn battery tunnel. my speed was approx 15-25mph. my bumper cover, grill, radiator, transmission cooler, fan, fan shroud, headlight,s hood, etc have to be replaced, i've attached a picture. it should be pretty clear that the air bag should have gone off.
I was removing trash from the back of my pathfinders at the local transfer station. i turned to go back into the rear of the vehicle for the remainder of the trash when i struck the side of the tail gate which had crept down to my eye level and i turned into it resulting in lots of bleeding and a trip to the er requiring 11 sutures on my lower forehead just above my eye. this is a dangerous situation and i'm concerned it could happen again but also could happen to one of my children. it does seem to be temperature related but that should have been considered in the design. *tr
Passenger side floor board kept getting wet. after the 4th service i asked the dealership about it and they told me that there is a bulletin out on the a/c evaporator coil and they do not have the parts to repair it because they are on back order. they will call and schedule an appointment with me when the parts are available. *tr
