The tire pressure light stays on with the tires at the correct pressure. the light flashes about 20 times then stay solid for the remainder of the time whether driving or parked and on.
My front brakes are squeaky. even after having my brakes regularly serviced with pads and rotors the brakes still squeak. their have also been times when i stepped on the brake but the car did not slow down as expected. i had to pump the brakes to re-engage them. once this caused me to roll into an intersection which luckily no other cars were near me. now my front left wheel has started making loud swooshing and screeching noises. the faster i drive the louder the noise gets. the squeak in the left front tire is also present when driving in neutral. i have an appointment to get the car serviced on wednesday. even after servicing it makes me nervous that my car is not safe.

Takata recall, airbag on passager side indcator light on, tire light and tire slow leak
My car incurred a flat tire. car towed to dealer who said the flat was caused by a screw which is worn away and caused the tire sensor to display and the flat occurred. serving dealer said i need to replace all sensors and screws. i checked online and found a recall for this very issue. i found through the dealer that the recall was performed on only one sensor/tire...not all of them. now i have a bill for over $550 to replace all the sensors and screws even though the recall was never fully performed. contacted nissan headquarters and they said the recall was closed out. i explained the recall was never fully completed. they still do not acknowledge this is safety issue. please see attached article: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/09/nissan-may-bust-a-nut-under-pressure-recalls-143-000-over-tire/. *tr
Low tire pressure light will not go off even after having air pressure checked and air added. *tr
The vehicles tire pressure warning light remains illuminated. i noticed there was a recall in many states excluding california. i live in california, could my vehicle or vehicles in my state be included. ironically my vehicle is experiencing the same symptoms listed in the recall. *js
Vehicle is currently parked at dealer with confirmed brake/wheel locking problem occurring in one wheel at time and random among 3 of the 4 wheels each time applied in mode similar to abrupt stop and in slick conditions.this braking problem did result in an accident 11/18/2013. the computers indicate everything working properly yet tech's are able to confirm that is not the case. after numerous tests, dealer tech's were advised by nissan to cease further testing and open case with consumer affairs. initial brake issue reported 8/7/2012. brake pedal went all the way to the floor. did not happen every time but frequent. caused inconsistent stopping control and almost caused accident driving and even pulling a parking spot. dealer replaced master cylinder. vehicle was again returned to dealer 12/26/2012 for soft/spongy brake problem brakes would go all the way to the floor with unsafe and reduced braking ability. dealer had vehicle until 1/4/2013. appears they replaced master cylinder again, to no avail. they contacted nissan tech-line for assist. replaced abs control mod assy and brakes appeared normal again. 6 days later on 1/10/2013. street was snow covered. i lightly applied brakes & vehicle began to lose control, with rear of the vehicle trying to come around. the vehicle felt like a wheel or brake locked up causing me to begin sliding, then like traction control was malfunctioning causing further loss of control. they checked it & concluded everything was working properly.the next snow i had the same problem. anytime i applied brakes in the snow, i would begin to lose control as if only one brake was working. on 11/18/2013 driver had to hit brakes abruptly and car went into a skid with one tire locking up causing her to not be able to stop safely causing a collision.leaving single tire skid mark, approx 60 feet before stop. abs did not activate. *tr
The vehicle has shown problems that were previously recalled including tire monitoring system, passenger air bag warning light remains lit, and rear hatch fails to function. more recently the vehicle fails to start and has strong smell of gas. the fuel pump was replace by a certified mechanic but the problem persists, failure to start or run. in addition, the battery has drained even after being checked and recharged, clearly an electrical problem. the vin number search shows no recall notices. updated 2/10/2016*js
I purchased my murano 5 years ago and i've had a few issues but been very happy with purchase other than 2 things! 1 the wheel valves have been a common issue in on my third set of tires but i'm constantly having to air them due to the valve in side the tire! mine isn't listed under recall it there is a recall on other nissan with same issue. the second my stereo locked up cds and the warranty didn't cover this was a week after purchase that was. wet disappointing after paying over 30,000 for it! *tr
This is a serious safety hazard. the nut holding the tpms sensor/tire fill valve failed catastrophically with 2 longitudinal cracks while traveling 70 mph on interstate 5 near valencia, california. tire pressure released suddenly (no previous warning by the tpms system). the car pulled strongly to the left (failure was in the front left tire). regained control of the car and pulled off to shoulder. nut shows evidence of corrosion and dirt in one of the two cracks. tire was undamaged by any road hazard, only the tpms sensor/fill valve was loose in the wheel, and the nut came apart when hand inspecting the valve. a nissan service bulletin exists for corroded nuts in eastern states where salt is used on roads, however this vehicle has strictly been in california, with less than 10 trips to ski areas in california, which does not use salt on its roads. tire and nut are available for inspection. this appears to be a significant safety issue as control of the vehicle is at risk due to the sudden nature of the tire pressure loss and deflation. *tr
Damp patches appeared on the original alu rim 20'. it happened app. 3 months after using my new car. i have reported this fact to service during maintenance, but i was brushed off (it was my filling). additionally the middle holes have sharp marks after rotating and balance in dealer service. i want to highlight that all works with wheels and tires have been discovered in service. i have reported this fact too, but without effect. because original surface or alu rims was so easy changed color (permanently) i assume that quality of materials used to produce this part of rims are very poor and in effect it can be reason some incidents connected with broken rims. of course my car is still in warranty and i hope that nissan will agree to change broken rims in my car asap to avoid any disasters. *tr
