Tl* the contact owns a 2007 nissan maxima. the contact stated that the fuel gauge failed. the contact would add fuel to the vehicle but the fuel gauge would not move. the contact was unable to determine the amount of fuel in the vehicle at all times. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection where they advised that the unified unit assembly needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified and they advised the contact that he would have to take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs. the failure mileage was 22,000.
