Problems with 2005 Nissan Maxima AIR BAGS

Indicator light in vehicle says passenger side air bag is not working.

I am a forensic consultant that has examined the subject vehicle which was involved in a serious frontal collision with an approximate 32 mph longitudinal delta v. the driver was properly safety belted but the frontal air bags failed to deploy. this is a serious defect affecting public safety. *tt *bf *jb

Tamara inflators seat belts didn't lock or light did not come on. smashed body all the way to back seat bottom to ground. engine was idling very high felt/sound as if we were going 60 but only was going 40. no air bags came on. brakes grinding. back window blew out and tires flat in back.. windows slow on drivers side. when the sheriff tahoe hit us at 80mph on u.s. 40 greenfield in was in the shop at j&m truck an trailer on the west side of indianapolis having the oil leaked fixed and tires all fixed and rotors and lights by [xxx] a couple months prior. i had my little girl in the back seat as well where sheriff hit and ran. i uploaded a before and after picture. vin#[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr

I have a recall notice from nissan but my auto dealer left our area. nissan told me to take it to another town that is at least 70 miles away. i cannot get it there. they will not pay another non-nissan local dealer to do the work. what can i do?

I'm was driving when my tire popped and my car went across all three lanes, across the median, then across three lanes of oncoming traffic into some woods and hit a tree head on. all side airbags deployed but the front on didn't, which concerns me since i hit a tree head on. the side airbags left bruises on my face and neck injuries. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan maxima. the contact stated while driving 60 mph the contact lost control over the vehicle and went airborne and crashed into a ditch, destroying the vehicle. during the crash only the passenger side curtain airbag deployed. the contact stated none of the frontal air bags deployed. the contact suffered injuries to the head and shoulder. the contact stated if the air bag deployed the head injury could have been avoided. the contact had not called the manufacturer at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage was 108,000.
