Tl* the contact owns a 2008 nissan armada. the contact heard a loud noise when the vehicle was started. one mechanic stated that the exhaust manifold needed to be replaced. a second mechanic also inspected and diagnosed the vehicle. the vehicle was to be taken to a dealer for further diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

My vehicle was making a noise like it had a hole in the exhaust. come to find out, both of the exhaust manifolds are cracked. 3000 past the 80000 mile warranty and nissan will not cover it. needless to say, i sure wish there could be an extension to this warranty as there was with another manufacturer that extended it to 100000 miles. something needs to be done. this is a failure to protect the american consumer. *tr

Nissan armada vehicles with a factory tow package include self-leveling rear suspension. the system is comprised of air-leveled shocks and an air compressor. the system leaks, causing the air pressure to drop at speed, with or without loads, and when parked and turned off. it causes the rear end to be soft and handle poorly, which, when towing, is clearly a safety hazard. *tr
