I have a 2007 nissan altima. i bought it used from a dealership in houston, tx on 12/10/2008. i drove it all of 2009 and turned the air conditioner on in march, 2010 and the air compressor is out. this car only has 70,000 miles on it and the compressor has gone out. the compressor should not have gone out with only 70,000 miles on the car. *tr

I have a 2007 nissan altima sedan that had the rear sway bar snapped in two. the nissan dealership had mentioned that it is not a manufacturing defect, but upon an independent inspection by a 3rd party mechanic, there was no apparent damage to the area surround the area where the sway bar snapped. also, the mechanic mentioned that the sway bar was manufactured as a hollow tube and therefore may not be able to support the tension. the sway bar snapped in the connection point where it was mounted on the chassis of the vehicle. i also have read about other owners of the same vehicle which have encountered the same problem. please see here.... http://wiki.answers.com/q/why_did_the_2007_nissan_altima_rear_sway_bar_break. *tr
