Car turned off while entering on ramp of highway in heavy traffic. according to a recall notice of dec 2007, the ecm must be updated. i brought my vehicle in for the recall. i was told in order to perform the recall update they must first run a diagnostic test for $98. i was then told the crankshaft position censor needs to be replaced. this would cost another $200. since i did not receive the recall notice and the ecm caused the crankshaft position censor to overheat how is it that i must pay for this. this was due to the defect in the vehicle. i had no way to know if it even needed to be replaced. i had to go by their word and in order to have the computer in my vehicle updated. this is very dangerous. when i called nissan consumer affairs for their assistance, i was first told that the vin on my vehicle did not fall under the recall. when i insisted that how is it my car would have the same problem as described in the recall they then changed their position to a letter was sent out to my in june of 2008. i would not ignore such an important recall notice. i never received the letter and if not for stalling while driving i still would not know. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving at various speeds, the vehicle sporadically stalled without warning. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and had it repaired according to the recall for the ecm. immediately after the repair, while driving 65 mph, the vehicle completely stalled. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and they repaired the engine throttle. the dealer still has possession of the vehicle because the contact is afraid to operate the vehicle. the failure mileage was 25,000 and current mileage was 26,000. updated 07/07/08. *lj
Nissan dealership refusing refund for recalled crankshaft position sensor in 2005 altima. *tr
2005 nissan altima 2.5s has left my wife stranded for hours because of a faulty crankshaft position sensor (engine code p0335). this faulty part has also disabled the car while driving on busy streets. as a result, we have been unable to trust the reliability of this vehicle and have rendered it completely unusable. the dealerships service department has performed a "reprogramming of the ecm" as required by a recall notice issued on december 10, 2007. this did not remedy the condition. there exists a recall that requires dealerships to replace the crankshaft position sensors on 2002 and 2003 nissan altimas, but not for a 2005 nissan altima, which apparently suffers from the same problem. this is unacceptable. there is little to no difference between these model year vehicles as far as engine components are concerned. please extend the recall notice so that owners of 2005 my nissan altima 2.5s vehicles may also have their crankshaft position sensors replaced to prevent dangerous accidents from occurring. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. whenever the contact brakes at low speeds, the vehicle stalls and all of the warning lights illuminate afterwards. he did not notice any differences in the vehicle prior to the failure. the vehicle is currently being diagnosed by the dealer. the current mileage was 48,500 and failure mileage was 36,000. updated 10/14/08. *lj the consumer was told his vehicle was not included in the recall. updated 10/15/08 *jb
I took my nissan altima in for repair for the recall on it in jan 08 and when i picked up my car i cb the next day and advise them that my car was not running correctly, it has continue to get worst i was able to get my car in for repair on aug 20 because my car stalls while my car is in motion and the engine light keeps coming on and off. they call me back on 8/22 and said that it was the speedo cluster and it has been fixed charged 420.00. 2 weeks later my service engine light is back on and my car is still stalling. i feel as if my car is going to cut off while i'm on the interstate and cause a accident or worst my life. when i took my car back to them and they will not take responsibly for not fixing my car correctly they said that the computer is saying something different now that what the computer said 2 weeks ago but i advise them that i did not bring my car there for an experiment it was taken there to fix the stalling and its still do the same thing. i asked them for my money back so i can get my car fix else where. sheehy nissan of glen burnie also says that they think it may be my crank sensor but this is why i took my car in for the recall because of everything that is now happening with my car. i pull up history on the nissan altima and a lot of customer are having the same problem after they take it in for repair on the recall the engine light and stalling happens with your vehicle. this is a very serious issue and they are taking it likely. it started out stalling around once or twice a week now its doing it everyday and the light is constantly on. *tr
My 2005 nissan altima stalled while driving, and "check engine soon" light came on. i was able to arrive home, however i could not start the vehicle again. i had it towed to the dealer who informed me that the crank position sensor needed to be replaced. when i called nissan consumer affairs, they informed me my vehicle is not included in the recall to replace the crank position sensor. i do not understand why my vehicle is not included in this recall, since my problem is identical to the problem described in the recall. *tr
I had no problems with my car until this recall was repaired - nhtsa campaign #07v527000 engine and engine cooling - 2005 nissan altima -- on certain passenger vehicles equipped with a 2.5l engine, the crankshaft position sensor can overheat causing a brief interruption in the signal output from the sensor. if the interruption in the signal from the crankshaft position sensor is so brief that the electronic control module (ecm) logic does not have time to diagnose the condition, the engine may stop running without warning while the vehicle is driven at a low speed increasing the risk of a crash. dealers will reprogram the ecm free of charge. my car was part of this recall. since the reprogramming was completed my car started having slow acceleration and jerks while engine tries to upshift. it began to not crank at all. after several attempts it finally would. this happens very often and i never know if my car will start. nissan could not diagnosis since my engine light wasn't on. the problem has increased to the engine cutting off by itself and just now the engine light has came on. i am taking it in for diagnosis tomorrow but can see that i am not the first to have these serious problems. nissan needs to replace the ecm instead of reprogramming since it did not resolve the problem. i am fearful that an accident will result from these problems. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the vehicle restarted automatically after 20 minutes and the warning light illuminated on the instrument control panel. the dealer stated that her vin was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 07v527000 (engine and engine cooling), although the failure was identical. the manufacturer would not assist because the vehicle was excluded from the recall. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 94,000 and current mileage was 100,000.
Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated that the check engine warning light would illuminate followed by the vehicle stalling. the vehicle was repaired under nhtsa campaign id number: 07v527000 (engine and engine cooling) in december 2007. the dealer repaired the ecm for a second time in july 2009 however, the vehicle continued to stall. the dealer advised the contact to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the vehicle was not further repaired. the current mileage was 116,000 and the approximate failure mileage was unknown.
2005 nissan altima built in 2004 bad crank shaft sensor, was already recalled 2002 & 2003 models and nissan is not recalling the 2004 built ones. *tr
My 2005 altima was failing to start normally. i took it to my local mechanic to find out why. after some searching my mechanic found the crankshaft sensor was faulty and had caused other fault codes to occur. the car has approx 56,000 miles on it and i was told this problem normally should not happen with this amount of miles. when the part was picked up by the mechanic, he was told that eight of these sensors were recently sold for this same problem. i also checked online and found some of the same complaints from consumers. one person suggested a recall should have been made for this problem. the part was $42 but after diagnostic testing and an oil change, my bill was almost $200! i have been happy with the altima up to this point but feel there are several other altima owners out there who have suffered this same problem. if that is the case, a recall should be issued. if a recall happens to be issued, then i feel i should be reimbursed for having to pay for fixing my vehicle. *tr
2005 nissan altima with deceleration problems. consumer states that the vehicle will decelerate from what ever speed to about 20 mph. he states that the dealer keeps saying bring it in while the vehicle is having the problem. *kb the consumer stated the throttle chamber was replaced and the fuel injection serviced, however later in the month, the problem re-surfaced again. the vehicle always seemed to return to normal operation after the vehicle was turned off and turned back on again. the problem happened again on december 7th and 15th. *jb
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the vehicle hesitates intermittently when started and turns over after approximately 5 to 7 seconds. the contact also hears a rough noise underneath the vehicle. the dealer has not been notified. the current and failure mileages were 30,000. updated 01/03/08. *lj updated 12/31/07
On numerous occasions in october, 2007 my 2005 nissan altima would stall out while driving. this occurred mainly on the interstate causing a instantaneous slowing down of the vehicle, where vehicles behind me would come very close to hitting the rear of my car. other times the car would stall completely at low speeds, loosing power to the steering and brakes putting myself in a situation harmful to those stopped in front of me. the stall occurs without warning to myself or others around me, creating a serious safety-related problem. i researched & found safety-related recalls for the '02, '03, '04 models but not 2005. my vehicle had 41,000 miles on it when i took it to the dealership. there was no recall yet for the 2005 model although i experienced the same problems the other recalls identified. the service personnel called me after my car was looked at and advised that the cam shaft position sensor and the crank shaft position sensor had failed due to experiencing hot conditions & the solder holding them in place melted (again consistent with previously issued tsbs and recalls). i pleaded, this should be under a recall, both with nissan consumer affairs and with victory nissan from whom i purchased the altima. i was left paying the fee myself. the recall for the 2005 model was issued in december 2007 and i am trying to get a refund for having to pay for repairs that nissan identified as safety-related. the recall lists reprogramming of the ecm, which needed to be completed, since the ecm would loose communication with the tcm. however the reason for the failure in communication stemmed from the failure of the position sensors. i feel let down and upset that nissan continued to experience these problems with their 2.5 liter engines in years subsequent to issued recalls and failed to notify current owners of the safety-related problems. i am also upset that nissan does not admit the crank position and cam position sensors played part in the stalling. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving 35 mph, the vehicle shut off without warning. the failure occurred after a right turn was made. the vehicle failed to immediately restart. the vehicle was repaired twice. the contact discovered that her vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign id number 07v527000 (engine and engine cooling) after the repairs had been made. the dealer would not reimburse her for the repair costs. the current mileage was 51,000 and failure mileage was 50,000.
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle completely shut off and had to be maneuvered to the side of the road. it took 20 minutes for the vehicle to restart. the vehicle was taken to a dealer and they stated that the crankshaft position sensor failed and needed to be replaced. the vehicle was diagnosed as having 02 sensor and crankshaft sensor failure. the vehicle is included in nhtsa campaign id number 07v527000 (engine and engine cooling). the current mileage is 90,167 and failure mileage was 87,000. updated01/08/08 *bf updated
I lost power from 65mph to 40mph without warning on a hwy with the speed limit of 65mph> i took to dealership and they replaced throttle body assy. i received a recall notice "that the engine might stop running while being driven due to the program in the electronic control module. they said this wasn't a problem. 9/04/2008 the engine stalled after started this time a faulty crankshaft position sensor. please look into related dangers. thanks *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving forward at various speeds, approaching a stop, or making a turn, the vehicle stalled and shut off completely. the failure was diagnosed as the crank shaft sensor. the vehicle will be repaired in a couple of days. the vin was unknown. the current mileage was 54,000 and failure mileage was 50,000.
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving 55 mph, the transmission would skip without warning. as of march 25, 2008, the dealer had not inspected the vehicle. the failure mileage was 30,000 and current mileage was 37790.
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. while driving 30 mph, the vehicle began making a loud noise and the service engine light illuminated. she was able to drive to a service station and the mechanic stated that there was no oil or oil plugs in the vehicle. he refused to make the repair. she had the vehicle towed to nissan, where it was regularly serviced every 3,000 miles. the dealer stated that she needed a new engine and that they were not responsible for the vehicle not having oil or oil plugs. they also informed her that someone had tampered with her vehicle. the contact has spoken with nissan on several occasions and has been without her vehicle for two months. she believes they are giving her the run-around. the current and failure mileages were 41,000. * updated 12/12/07 *bf the dealer stated passenger window makes noise, and remote switch is inoperable. updated 12/12/07 *tr updated 03-04-08 *bf
I am the owner of a 2005 nissan altima 2.5s and i am having problems with my engine going dead while traveling on the interstate highway. there is no set speed this happens, the car just drops power and cuts off. i travel 110 miles a day round trip and it happens at least three times a day. nissan has informed me since there is no error code in the ecm there is nothing they can do. i have been told basically its my problem. in researching the internet there appears to be many owners experiencing the same problem. *tr
On three separate occasions, my vehicle has cut off on me. i have taken the car to the dealership two of the three times. the first time, it cut off as i prepared to accelerate after stopping at a traffic light. the dealership could not get a problem reading from the computer. the second time, i was slowing down to go around a curve in the highway and the car did not respond when i attempted to accelerate. it sputtered and cut off. fortunately, there were no other cars behind me, as it was only a two lane highway and it was late at night. i was able to pull over to the shoulder and restart the car. the information about the recall came out shortly after, however morris nissan refused to repair my car without me paying for the repair, as they stated that they had not gotten authorization from nissan yet on the recall and could not do it free of charge. the third time was just today as, once again, i was accelerating from a stop. *tr
I experienced an incident before that my car stalled but it restarted quickly. then few weeks later my car stalled again but this time did not want to start up as quickly as before and my check engine soon light came on this time. as soon as it started up again i went straight to the dealership where i bought the car. on my way over there i was driving on the freeway and i felt my car loosing power and it jerked back. i was very afraid that my car would stall out while i was driving on the freeway. i went to the dealership and explain my situation but they were not able to help at that time because they were booked up. i left and went to auto zone and they performed a diagnostic test on my car. the reason my check engine light came on was due to malfunction of the crankshaft position sensor on my 2005 nissan altima. next morning i went back to the dealership and they performed a diagnostic test too and concluded the same thing. they replaced it with a new crankshaft position sensor. the check engine light is off and the car runs smoother and has not yet stalled out. *tr
I purchased a 2005 nissan altima in 2006, and in 2007 i started having trouble with the car just stopping when i was driving, this has happened several times, thank god i have not had any serious injuries because of this. my mechanic stated that this was a problem with something dealing with my engine computer resulting in circuit malfunction with my crankshaft, and engine speed sensor, the problem with the crankshaft resulted from me having to restart my car after just stopping on me. i don't feel like i should have to be responsible for repairs if there has been a recall on the very part of this vechicle that has resulted and lead up to the problem that i am having at this time. i have mentioned this to nissan and explained the problem that i am having, and seems to me that the company is just trying to get out of their responsibility of the mistake that was made when building this vehicle. the recall letter clearly states that if the dealer fails, or is unable to make the necessary repairs free of charge, i may contact the national consumeraffairs department. thank you for you time in this matter, and hope that it can be resolved in a timely matter.
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the service engine light illuminated and the engine revved while the vehicle was idling. the contact was concerned that his vehicle would not pass inspection. the vehicle was repaired for the same failure in january of 2007, but recurred 4,000 miles later. the contact is concerned that the repair will need to be made after every few miles he travels. nhtsa campaign id number 06v242000 (engine and engine cooling) was referenced. the failure mileage was 57,800.
I have had nothing but problems from my 2005 altima that i purchased new in sept 05. the first week i owned the vehicle my engine light came on and the vehicle was very sluggish from takeoff, i then called the dealership where i purchased the vehicle and was told that all nissan are sluggish and need to be driven to get the "newness from the vehicle" what kind of crap is that. about 6 months ago, i noticed that my brakes are squealing and my tires needed to be replaced, i don't even have 20k miles on my vehicle so this is very mysterious to me. nissan in my opinion does not listen to its customers and claims to be the very best towards their customers on the commercials but in reality they are just another big company making money at the expense of "use to be loyal" customers". every complaint on this board i can agree with which is sad for i to have experienced the seat belts, sharp bar under the passengers seat, engine and passenger seat air bag light so basically all we have is an expensive good looking non-working pieces of crap. so thank you very much nissan. signed - will never ever ever purchase another nissan in my life. *nm
Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle did not start on several occasions throughout the day. the electrical system was working fine, but the engine would not turn over. the vehicle was towed to a service dealer, where the dealer was unable to determine the problem, but stated that the cause was most likely due to the cold weather.
Car stalling at in traffic, stop lights, and while driving. i was told to replace air filter and have fuel injector service. i did. car began stalling again. i was told to have throttle body cleaned. i did. engine light on . hose put back on. engine light on again. was told there was code for idle valve but they didn't know how to address it. they reset computer. car stalling again. barely made it across intersection to get to dealership. nissan replaced air filter, cleaned fuel injectors (again) and replaced crack shaft sensors. i just got car today. the car stalling while driving seems a bit dangerous. *tr
Car would stall at low speeds or when stopped. i took the car to the dealership, they explained to me that my crankshaft position sensor was failing and that they would replace it for approximately $600. i then took the car to a private mechanic who replaced the sensor for $222.91. car purchased in 2004. additional work required: engine replacement, wheel bearings replacement, transmission replacement, and interior panels replacement. i found information of this campaign (07v527000) through www.nhtsa.gov and i've contacted nissan. nissan claimed that there was no such campaign and they could not help me. the campaign that they show for the crankshaft position sensor is for the 2002-3 altima models. *tr
Our engine seized up while we were driving, oil light came on and the brake light came on as the car died but not before the car died, while we were out of town coming home from a business trip. the nissan dealership said that the drain plug was missing. the oil light is supposed to come on no matter what when it gets low on oil, that is an electrical problem which is covered under the warranty that they pressured us into buying for $1500. now they are not honoring any service agreements they made. they are in breach of contract. we have been paying for hotels, car rentals, food, gas, hitchhiking, everything..... we need to be reimbursed for everything and have nissan take over payments for our car rental, loss of work, returning car, and getting a new one. we have spent five days now screwing with everyone except someone that will help. i have literally talked to 90 people or more since our car broke down. we want help right now, or we will sue trophy nissan immediately. *jb
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated that the engine valve has been making a tapping noise since 2006. he stated that the engine tapping failure is a safety issue because it could lead to engine seizure. the vehicle was taken to the dealer five times for this failure. after three of the five visits, the mechanic claimed that the failure was repaired; however, the tapping still occurs. the current mileage was 40,000 and failure mileage was 25,000.
The car failed to start after owning the car for 13 months. the car acted as if it was flooded, cranking but not firing. to start the car i had to hold the gas pedal down until the car fired and started. the failure occurred after recently purchasing gasoline. we only use 2-3 different gas stations with good reputations. it seemed to happen the first cold spell of november 2005. the dealer said these circumstances shouldn't cause flooding and if the check engine light didn't come on they couldn't do anything to help us. the problem has not recurred but as a precaution, i ran the gas tank almost empty and put in a bottle of gas treatment. i also plan, if possible, on buying my gas from only one source from here on out. *nm
Dt:the contact stated vehicle stalled while driving on the interstate. there were no indicator lights on before the engine stalled. the engine made a metal grinding noise when it lost all power. he was able to get off the road without incident. the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. they stated the cam shaft broke due to a material defect. the cam shaft will be replaced under warranty.*ak
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. after the vehicle was purchased, the air bag light illuminated while driving 45 mph. the dealer attempted to repair the failure on several occasions. there was also no oil in the vehicle at the time of purchase. the failure mileage was 9,339.
Dt: contact stated her car stopped on her while driving two-three times since mid august 2005. the car started shaking prior to stopping. the contact filed a complaint with the manufacturer. the problem has not been diagnosed. she wanted to file a complaint because she did not feel safe in the car. *ak
Dt: the contact stated the fuel system and cluster module had to be replaced with less than 800 miles on the vehicle. there was a pinging noise coming from under the mid section. the vehicle was taken to the dealership, and they stated this noise was normal. a local mechanic determined it was a broken catalytic converter. based on complaints on a website she felt that a clamp nut may be loose. this has not been addressed by the dealership. after 90 minutes in the vehicle the contact became dizzy by what she felt may be related to the exhaust system. the transmission jerked, and hesitated in low gears. the dealership has not been able to diagnose the problem with the transmission. the front windshield defroster partially defrosts the driver's side, but did not work at on the passenger's side. the vehicle has not been seen by the dealership for the defroster. *ak
dt: the contact owned a 2005 nissan altima. the car intermittently happened on the freeway driving at 65 mph. this incident happened twice, once was in los angeles, and once in las vegas. the engine restarted after the incident about 45 minutes to 1 hour later. after it restartd it will drive for a couple of minutes and shut down again. according to the dealership ,they repaired it twice. already the first time they repaired vehicle it was a key problem, but he knew that it was not. the second time changed the electronic control module ( ecm). the vehicle is now ready to be taking back to the dealer the third time. the manufacturer said that he could not turn in the car, and they did not care. *ak
The car would suddenly stop while driving almost causing fatal accidents. car was taken to nissan to have a recall fixed for this exact problem. nissan stated they would not reprogram the ecm under the recall until the crankshaft position sensors were replaced and was charged 350 dollars for parts and labor. the recall stated the sensors could overheat and cause brief interruption to the ecm and cause the car to stall. if the sensors are causing the problem why are they not recalled as well? further review online shows the original sensors were made from plastic and could crack and leak oil onto the sensor causing them to fail and the new revised ones are made from metal. *tr
The car failed to start only two weeks after buying it, and the problem has recurred. the car acts as if it's flooded, cranking but not firing. both failures occurred after recently purchasing gasoline (the same gasoline retailer is used fairly consistently) and driving the car immediately home in cold, but not severely cold, temperatures. the dealer said these circumstances shouldn't cause flooding, but has been unable to find any problems and now refuses to research it further. nissan consumer affairs has advised of a recall that may be applicable, but the dealer doesn't seem to be aware of it and i'm in the process of following up on this point. *nm
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact stated that the gears were grinding and the clutch pedal fell down which made it impossible to shift gears. he had to drive onto the emergency lane or apply extreme pressure to the brake pedal until it began to function normally while driving approximately 25 mph. the failure occurred more frequent during the summer. the engines oil pressure decreased to 10 psi. he took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that the required oil pressure was 14 psi. the dealer also stated that they could not offer any assistance after they replaced the oil pressure sensor. the dealer replaced the master cylinder clutch in 2008 but the failure continued to occur. the vehicle had not been repaired when the complaint was filed. he had not called the manufacturer to-date. the current mileage was approximately 36,200. the failure mileage was approximately 160.
At about 9,500 miles, faulty starter caused the car failed to start and stalled while driving on the freeway. i towed the car to the dealer where i purchased from and they tested right then, the car won't start but sparks with alot of white smoke from the tail pipe. i bought this car brand new on 7/4/04 with 50 miles on it.*ak
Dt: car just stops sometimes and it will not start. consumer almost has to flood the engine before it starts. dealer told consumer she needed to pump the gas 3 times before she started the car. she had vehicle in the repair shop because the car was idling very fast. they put a throttle chamber in it, then it started to do the same thing again . dealer said it was unsafe because it was racing too high; they ordered a new part for the car. it is still doing the same thing. *ak updated 02/07/06. *jb
Purchased a 05 altima in june of 2004. i have had nothing but problems. i took the car in at 19,000 and told them my car shakes and there is a ticking in the front end. sounds like it is coming from the engine. you can feel the shaking in the seats, gear shift and steering wheel. not to mention the shaking continues to knock my windows out of place. the shaking happens when your are sitting at a stop light and while driving. they told me that i would need to replace tires and alignment. i did the alignment. they then said that the ticking was normal and the shaking was normal. so being a young female i was took them for there word. i then was driving about 35 mph and the right front tire blew out. i was able to pull over, no one was hurt. called nissan said tires were not covered under warranty. so i went to an outside tire dealer to have replaced, was told rim was bent. again called nissan was told that was my problem. so i purchased a new set of rims. just started to face the fact that i would have to deal with the shaking and noise. about 2 months ago returned to the dealer because along with the shaking and noise now there is a loud clunking on the right passenger side. was told tires need to be replace, alignment and balance. also get this right front passenger rim bent. again! said it was the roads. took to tire dealer. rim was bent. he did his part, took it back to dealer. they have had my car more times in the last 2 months then i care to remind myself. but has been no fix to any of my issues. at closing of repair ticket was told ticking noise they did not know where it was coming from but they were pretty sure it was not the engine. the shaking was from a broke rack and pinion. so now that i am over my 36,000 mile warranty. i need to pay over 1300.00 to have repaired. i feel like this car is a lemon and i am now stuck. i am very upset with this lack of concern nissan has with my issues. i need help getting my car repaired. *nm
I bought the car on 9/20/04. on 10/3/04 i noticed that, the engine was leaking oil. dipstick showed oil level was below low mark. dealer inspection traced oil leak to the galley plug. *nm
Tl*the contact owns a 2005 nissan altima. the contact experienced engine failure ever since the vehicle was purchased. the engine failed and had to be replaced twice. the first time, the contact heard something pop while driving 60 mph, and the vehicle began smoking. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and was repaired under the extended warranty. when the vehicle was taken in for an oil change, the contact was informed that she needed another engine block. she had it replaced, but the vehicle still began to pull and hesitate as if it would lose power. the vehicle has yet to completely shut off. the current mileage was 73,866 and failure mileage was approximately 150.
