I bought the car new from the dealer with 6,000 miles on it. july of 2018 the left rear caliper failed and damaged the rotor. i brought the car in and the rotor, brake pads and caliper were replaced. on april 15, 2019 i brought the car in to dealer service this time it was the right rear caliper that failed and damaged the rotor. the dealer then changed the right rear caliper rotor and brake pads. when changing the pads on the left side they found the left side now leaking. the car was at the dealer service from april 15th- may 3rd. they told me the calipers were on back order. what is going on with these calipers? should there be a recall on these defective calipers? i am very concerned for my family's safety. these problems were noticed while driving the car and a grinding sound came from the rear of the car.
