Problems with 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander SUSPENSION

On average, the 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander starts to “feel” problems with the SUSPENSION and its various aspects after 74 000 miles.

Noticed that the crossmember has rotted away at the weld and not safe to drive. all other components are ok. there is a recall for 2008 v6 models for the corrosion, but not for 2008 4 cyl?? it uses the same defective parts back in 2008.

Cross member recall. taking too long for schaller to perform repair/recall work.

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 mitsubishi outlander. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v458000 (suspension); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue. the vin was unknown. the contact had not experienced a failure. parts distribution disconnect.
