My forward collision mitigation (fcm) system activated while car was in motion on a city street going straight with no hazards or objects obstructing the vehicle. there was a car far ahead of me that had a significant amount of exhaust (water vapor) and is was a very cold morning. this was the only factor that i suspect triggered the braking episode.
