I am disabled by my own factory alarm. the car will not start because my ecu was defective and i replaced it with a used one and took it to the dealer to program my key to the replacement ecu and the key still doesn't work even though i am getting a p1610 trouble code for immobilizer malfunction which is due to an ecu not recognizing the key. even the dealor can't get the car to start. the manufacturer got the immobilizer system too advanced that it's locking their car owner's out of their own car! this is unacceptable.
