A.c. is draining into the interior of the vehicle causing the carpet and flooring on the driver side under to the driver seat to become soaked through and will not drain out. on several occasions, footwear have slipped on the break and gas pedals due to moisture accumulated on the bottom of the shoe. the shoe is not able to dry and properly grip the gas and brake pedals due to the accumulated moisture soaked through the carpeting under foot. have contacted local mitsubishi dealership: the a.c. issue is a known issue and they will not cover the cost of repair even though it is causing safety issues with vehicle stopping and accelerating. contacted mitsubishi corporate and received the same communication that was relayed by the local dealership.
