Check engine light comes on every few weeks, various obd codes: p0455, p2402, p2407. this model has a know emission control system problem. selling dealer replaced filler cap twice and a purge valve before the dealership closed. some filler pipes are known to be defective. other dealers are not interested without charging 3 figure amounts for 'diagnosis. i have complained to mazda, they refer me to a dealer, dealer wants big bucks to 'diagnose' a known defect which i'm not willing to pay. i just want the defective car fixed. it has 28,000 miles on it, and the check engine light has been on perhaps 50 times. i also complained to the selling dealer about the clutch being hard to disengage, and was told "it was normal." i find today there is a service bulletin on that same issue.
