While parked and idling, vehicle suddenly accelerated and inadvertently jumped out of gear and forced vehicle forward into a palm tree before stopping. vehicle at body shop for repairs. *ak the consumer stated that the dealer refused to do a computer check to determine the reason why the vehicle took off while it was in park with the engine running. *yh

Left rear axle was making a clunking / clicking sound when engaged in t first gear. vehicle been to dealer on seven occasions, and they were unable to correct the problem. feel free to provide any further information.*ak

Purchased vehicle brand new from dealer (crossroads mazda in cary, nc) and from day 1 have had issues with the engine and the check engine light. transmission completely replaced in may 2004 (right after it went out of warranty); continual problems with check engine light illuminating for no reason and as of 12/08, cannot get car inspected due to check engine light; requesting a repair waiver since this is a known mazda issue and they have done nothing to resolve/assist their customers. *tr
