Tl* the contact owns a 2015 mazda 6. the contact stated that the air bag warning indicator flashed on and off and the front passenger air bag off indicator remained illuminated. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the dealer was not contacted. the failure mileage was 60,000.
We received a recall notice now no record with you or mazda three attempts to arrange a repair now telling us they have no notice

When involved in a collision in an intersection, the airbag deployed incorrectly. it popped out of the steering wheel but failed to inflate. not only did this not protect me from whiplash but it also burned a hole in my dress and caused 1st and 2nd degree burns on my upper inner thighs due to the malfunction. the airbag however was fully inflated 48 hours later when sitting in a towing yard.
Waited months for dealer to repair recalled air bag inflator. have not been contacted. car may have been driven in high humid areas as it was originally a rental.
