Tl* the contact owns a 2011 mazda 6. the contact stated the main wire harness on the driver's side burned out and the vehicle shook when being driven. the contact was concerned that the burnt wire harness could cause a fire or cause the air bags to deploy on their own. the dealer (bakersfield mazda, 3201 cattle dr, bakersfield, ca 93313) stated that the vin was not included in a recall. the manufacturer was notified. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 58,000.

The vehicle's car alarm goes off at random times. generally it seems to happen only in warmer weather and/or only if the key fob is within a certain distance. so far changing batteries in both the car and the key fob have not changed anything. there appears to be flaw in the door mechanisms that make the car think someone is breaking in due to loss of contact when the car has been locked. this only happens when the car is parked and locked by any method. it does not happen if the vehicle is let unlocked or in cooler temperatures. this issue has been ongoing for the past three years.

The low beam light goes out every time the car is off for the night ,in the morning when turned back on you need to hit the light or the font fender on driver side wher the problem is,every time every morning,i have to do this in order for the low beam light to work, l/s low beam light..many people have the same problem just go on youtube..

The passenger headlight will go out on my 2011 mazda 6 even though the bulb and fuses are still intact and working properly. it worked when i parked my car and turned them off manually and then did not come back on the next time i started my car and turned the lights on. it is definitely a flaw from mazda as numerous people have had this same problem. it is not only the 2011 models, search for "mazda headlight issue" and a variety of the mazda 6's are having this same issue. *tr

The bulbs on my vehicle seem to blow out within a month or 2. we tried different bulbs and it still happens. we are spending tons of money replacing headlights and the car is only driven a couple miles a day.
