Problems with 2010 Mazda Mazda5 ENGINE

On average, the 2010 Mazda Mazda5 starts to “feel” problems with the ENGINE and its various aspects after 94 000 miles.

Engine shut off while driving on highway. this is about my 5th experience.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 mazda 5. the contact stated that there was a knocking sound coming from the engine. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the bearings were chipping into the engine, causing the engine to knock. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 144,000.

I was driving and brake slowly and the engine just shut off on me. i was able to start the car again. there is not a warning at all but just stop anytime that it want too. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 mazda 5. while driving approximately 15 mph, the engine made a loud abnormal noise. the failure occurred twice. the dealer was unable to locate the cause of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not notified. the approximate failure mileage was 56,000.
