Tl*the contact owns a 2007 mazda3. the contact stated that on three occasions while driving between 30-35 mph, the vehicle suddenly stopped without prior warning. the check engine light and power steering light both illuminated after the failure. the contact replaced the battery but the failure occurred again. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was told that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. the contact had not spoken with the manufacturer at the time of the complaint. the vin was unavailable. the current mileage was approximately 35,550. the failure mileage was approximately 35,510.
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 mazda 3. while driving at 50 mph, the check engine light illuminated. the dealer diagnosed the failure as a sticking purge valve that had become clogged. the valve was replaced and the failure codes were reset. the failure mileage was 32,571 and the current mileage was 33,000.
I am the owner of a 2007 mazda 3 . several days ago, while my 18 year old daughter was driving it, the car lost power, locking the steering (while she was on a curve), and she left the road, hitting a tree, and totaling the car. she was not hurt. *tr
Tl*the contact owns a 2007 mazda 3. on august 29, 2008, the power steering failed while making a right turn. the steering wheel became very difficult to turn and the vehicle had to be towed to the dealer. the dealer replaced the computer and the power steering pump. on march 27, 2009, the failure recurred while making a right turn. in addition, the power steering indicator illuminated. the vehicle was towed to the dealer again, where it has remained for the past two weeks. the dealer will replace the power steering parts for the second time; however, the contact does not feel comfortable driving the vehicle. he would like mazda to purchase the vehicle back. the failure mileage was 32,500. updated 05/07/09. *lj the oxygen sensor was faulty. the dealer replaced the power steering pump and module assembly. the right front strut was replaced. updated 05/07/09.*jb
Oxygen sensor #2 had been cross-threaded into the exhaust manifold. damage was done at the factory. dealer refused to replace the part do to the fact that i had found the problem and not them. *tr
Mazda speed3 2007 has been having problems, with engine mounting failure it seems the engine mount is not bolted correctly or the bolt itself to the engine is defective , i believe mazda is aware of this three incidents ,but has not issue any recalls or recommendations , i provide a forum link mazda3forums as some picture provided by actual consumers who had this happened to their cars. please helps us. http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=68463.0. *jb
