Latch on the driver-side, rear folding seat won't engage. i folded the seat-back forward to create more cargo room. afterward, when i folded it upright the latch that is supposed to lock it in an upright position would not engage. i tried many times to have it latch and lock, but it would not do so and it just flopped forward. i went on-line and found that other cx-5 owners have had the same problem. this creates a safety issue for persons riding in the rear seat.
The motor on the driver seat is broken and allows only one side of the seat to move forward and the car doesn't fully turn off when placed in park because of a gear shift issue.
Driver side seat started getting hot while driving but switch was not on. had to stop car and wait for seat to cool off. this has happened 2 times so far. dealer said they could not find anything wrong with the car.
All seats started producing a squeaking noise after a couple of years of use.
