Recently have had a trunk ajar msg on the instrument panel when the trunk lid is secure.at night after rolling up windows and locking the car the interiors lights are not shutting off(this has happen twice). had to disconnect the battery. upon letting the windows down today 8-7-15 found the seat had returned to the full front position -by its self. it had done this before after turning the engine off 3 or 4 times.upon driving and coming home.the driver seat has not reset itself while driving so far.my main concern is the interior lights are not shutting off at present.hope its linked to the trunk lid sensor or whatever it is.have a service appt.. at fords 8-12-15.
Im filing this complaint due to having issues with my 06 lincoln zephyr. while driving my passenger side air bag light turned on and in order to get the light to turn off i had to turn off my vehicle and restarted it but the light has not come back on since then. im also having problems with my passenger side a/c seat climate control randomly turning off completely on its own. im also having issues with my a/c blowing hot air and i was told it's a sensor deep in the dash that cost approximately $25.00 but the labor is $500.00 plus. i need to find out if there are any recalls for the 2006 lincoln zephyr v6 3.0. *tr
Purchased linc zepher in jan 2006, auto has been serviced 4 or 5 times to repair/replace the cooled/heated sets. the unit never ran for more than 30 minutes and when down from there to 15 min then 5 min then not at all. dealer replaced all parts relating to this unit but system will function on for 30 minutes now at full capacity then for the next 30 minutes run at a diminished capacity then after 60 minutes in total does not function. service rep. states this is normal operation of this equipment it overheats and will not work. even though the zepher sales information states on page 10. - "the 3 cool settings join 3 heat settings to keep you comfortable all day - and all night"
