My 2005 lincoln town car extended warranty expired @ 100,000 miles and at about 110,000 miles the a/c failed. the dealership repaired it citing that the evaporator failed at a cost of approx. $2,400. i called ford motor and they said that there's nothing they can do to help me. about a month ago, 3 months after having the evaporator replaced, the a/c failed again, not blowing cold air. i took it back to the dealership that did the original work, and this time they said that the accumulator is leaking and has to be replaced at a cost of approx. $700.00. again i called ford motor and they said that they cannot help. can you intervene? the dealership is safford lincoln-mercury, silver spring, maryland, phone #: 888-848-5997, and the service manager is chris austin. *tr
