Engine surged causing vehicle to propel forward hitting the vehicle in front of me. there was significant damage to my car and less damage to the truck that i hit. i was in a carpool line at my child's school where it is not uncommon for pedestrians to walk in front of vehicles sitting in line. if this had been the case there would have been a serious injury/death.
